  1. Unraid 7 beta has a bug where the setting "Tunable (md_write_method)" does not apply until after a reboot of the server. I THINK it's what stopping the mover plugin from working for me as i have that setting set to read/modify/write, in the plugin i want it set to force turbo write on (as in reconstructive write) and so the mover doesn't start for me even with this fix to the plugin.
  2. Does force turbo writes when not enabled in unraid settings work with that?
  3. Doesn't seem to do anything for me. Maybe related to the mover settings not applying before after a reboot bug in 7 beta? Asking because i had the force turbo writes on in the plugin but not in Unraid it self.
  4. Changing the Tunable (md_write_method) setting does nothing only after a reboot of the server does the setting take effect. yocks-diagnostics-20240707-0520.zip
  5. Do i have to put in the "rm /usr/local/sbin/move" into the go file as well? Can't get the mover to work at all.

Ah yeah i'm an idiot, sorry. I just read that in the device section and forgot all about what the release notes said. Thanks for the answer!

I'm rather new to ZFS and just notice this on my pool: Some supported and requested features are not enabled on the pool. The pool can still be used, but some features are unavailable. action: Enable all features using 'zpool upgrade'. Once this is done, the pool may no longer be accessible by software that does not support the features. See zpool-features(7) for details. Should i just ignore this or run the upgrade? Running the 7. beta for Arc support.
  8. binhex/arch-qbittorrentvpn:4.6.5-1-05 Edit the container and put that into the repository. Usually it says "binhex/arch-qbittorrentvpn:latest" latest means the latest update available, instead we give it "4.6.5-1-05" meaning that version number. Quick and dirty it all means developer:container:version.
  9. Will do, thanks.
  10. Any update on this?
  11. Sorry, pressed the save button too fast and was too slow to edit my post it seems.
  12. Just installed the latest update and now all i'm getting is "Error: error sending query: Error creating socket" Previous version worked fine. supervisord.log
  13. If you are downloading to a share in the fuse layer (none exclusive share) it might take up a good deal of CPU. Please note that if you change it to an exclusive share you won't be able to use hard links when moving files.
  14. You don't really need a video guide for it as it is very easy to do. https://www.reddit.com/r/unRAID/comments/15xty7e/success_intel_arc_a380_hardware_transcoding_with/
  15. Try and ask on the Emby forum at https://emby.media/community/index.php They are usually very fast at answering.
  16. Is that the whole problem here seeing as hes ZFS raid are in pools and not in the array?
  17. Yock replied to frodr's topic in General Support
Turbo Write might help. That said, SSD's in the array is not a good idea because TRIM is disabled there slowing the SSDs down to a crawl after a while. Make a ZFS or BTRFS raid pool instead, not only will TRIM be available but making it the right kind of raid will speed things up a whole lot. The array as it stands atm. is meant for old fashioned spinning rust only.
  18. Have you checked your "Power Supply Idle State" in bios? Some Ryzen CPUs need it set to "typical current idle" for it to be stable in Unraid, i had to set it with my 3900x to get a stable system. Our dear JorgeB here wrote a good summery of it here:
  19. While very much faster than the normal array, RaidZ1 seems to top out at around 1.2GB/s for me with my pool of 3 NVME SSDs and a Ryzen 3900x. I know there are reasons i can't get more than that, just wanted to add to this thread in case people wanted to make a RaidZ1 for speed reasons.
  20. I'm running this my self without any problems. That said, i suggest waiting for the next version of Unraid, it's supposed to be released soon and have native support for the Intel Arc cards.
  21. Many thanks for the fix, keep up the great work!
  22. You can delete the supervisor to "reset" it.
  23. Sorry for the delay, IRL stuff. Nothing much happens, it's using the latest it seems.
  24. If its any help here's the log file. supervisord.log Update: Just tested with Wireguard instead and that works just fine. And passwords have been changed.. So no worries there either, just wanted to give whole log
  25. You mean this? binhex/arch-qbittorrentvpn
