After the lastest update it doesn't seem to work with PIA any more. 2024-06-03 20:16:02,739 DEBG 'start-script' stdout output: 2024-06-03 20:16:02 OpenSSL: error:068000E9:asn1 encoding routines::utctime is too short: 2024-06-03 20:16:02 OpenSSL: error:0688010A:asn1 encoding routines::nested asn1 error:Field=revocationDate, Type=X509_REVOKED 2024-06-03 20:16:02 OpenSSL: error:0688010A:asn1 encoding routines::nested asn1 error:Field=revoked, Type=X509_CRL_INFO 2024-06-03 20:16:02 OpenSSL: error:0688010A:asn1 encoding routines::nested asn1 error:Field=crl, Type=X509_CRL 2024-06-03 20:16:02 OpenSSL: error:0488000D:PEM routines::ASN1 lib: 2024-06-03 20:16:02 CRL: cannot read CRL from file [[INLINE]] 2024-06-03 20:16:02 CRL: loaded 0 CRLs from file -----BEGIN X509 CRL----- 2024-06-03 20:16:02,739 DEBG 'start-script' stdout output: 2024-06-03 20:16:02 TCP/UDP: Preserving recently used remote address: [AF_INET]104.18.159.201:1198 2024-06-03 20:16:02 UDPv4 link local: (not bound) 2024-06-03 20:16:02 UDPv4 link remote: [AF_INET]104.18.159.201:1198

[PLUGIN] ZFS Master
Many thanks for the answer, that does indeed explain it! Keep up the great work.

[PLUGIN] ZFS Master
ZFS master isn't showing the correct pool size for me but instead showing the amount of space for all disk.
-
ZFS master showing pool almost double size
Was trying to setup snapshots for my appdata when zfs started showing my pool as almost double the size that it really is. Can anyone explain that to me.

Transcode/working to memory Plex, Emby & Tdarr
I use /dev/shm/ for my transcoding needs in Emby, i also used it in Jellyfin when i ran that and have not yet encountered a problem. /dev/shm/ is like a built in ramdisk that makes sure it can only use 50% of the available memory. When you used /tmp it would have been allowed to fill all your memory and might have been the reason why stuff started to fail, so IMO never use /tmp ! That said, the best thing to do is get a cheap sata SSD and use that as a scratch drive, basically transcode to that. You avoid problems like temp files not being cleaned and there for filling your memory and sata SSDs if buying in the 250GB to 1TB range are cheap. They can also handle a lot more writes than some people think. I plan to do this my self at some point when i mess with the server again.

Server Crashes... I can't figure it out.
Quote from site: "Ryzen on Linux can lock up due to issues with c-states, and while this should mostly affect 1st gen Ryzen there are reports that 2nd and even 3rd gen can be affected in some cases, make sure bios is up to date, then look for "Power Supply Idle Control" (or similar) and set it to "typical current idle" (or similar)." What you are describing fits this perfectly. Hope it helps.

Ryzen 5 3600 build freezes daily
I had to change idle control and C-states on my 3900x for it to be stable.

Write protecting sensors.conf
I fixed it with a user script that overwirtes the file after boot. Love learning new stuff.

Ignore
Many thanks for the answer. Yeah i found out about that and made a script to do that. But many thanks again!

Write protecting sensors.conf
Hello. I recently installedf Dynamix System Temp but to get it to work i had to make changes to /etc/senors.d/sensors.conf. Sadly when i reboot my server the changes doesn't stick and i have to manually edit the file to make the plugin work again. Using chattr +i gives me the error "Operation not supported while reading flags on sensors.conf" Any way to write protect that file at all so i don't have to make manual changes every time i need to reboot the server? Thanks in advance for any help!
