Thanks very much @wgstarks - so I've just tried changing that value in the sab settings and it instead uninstalled the app. I've gone to try to re-install using it and it gives me an error: docker: Error response from daemon: invalid volume specification: '/mnt/user/appdata/data:/data:/data/usenet:rw'. See 'docker run --help'. The command failed. Any ideas please? and thank you.

Hi all, sorry to bother but I'm a complete novice with unraid and am just really stuck and not sure how to proceed. I've recently switched to an unraid box after using a low power windows server for years. Like many I was trying to use the trash guides to get this working so followed their folder structure of data\usenet\complete(incomplete) I've got sabnzbd installed, I've currently got the linuxserver one as I was havign same issues with the binhex release and thought switching may help. I install binhex-radarr: I then go into my radarr install, setup my download client and now see: I've clicked the link which gives some advice that I just don't understand enough about to follow and it again points you to the trash guide which I'm already stuck on. Please can anyone help? I'm going round in circles re-installing radarr/sonarr over and over trying different paths to make it work but just end up at same point every time. Thank you for any advice.

oh flipping heck - yeah I'll just move that drive to my windows machine and get an alternative cache drive from somewhere. What a PITA! thank you very much.

I've also had 2 new errors today with radarr and plex not starting, I found their errors and did some searching on the forum and found another post you replied to from a few years ago where you suggested the person do a "compute all" in shares which I've done and shows the system on multiple disks as you mention:

Hi folks, Sorry to post yet another question for help but I will anyways. I had an issue previously where I couldn't install any arrs/sab which has now bee resolved. I've installed radarr and sabnzbd using the binhex variants. I'm trying to follow the trash guide for setting up so using a single large data share with subfolders for usenet then complete/incomplete, then a seperate folder for media etc. Screenshots of my settings below: Radarr: Sab: Radarr tells me: So I go and check the folders in Sab: Which don't look correct. I then try to change the folder but there is no data share showing up under mnt: I've done some looking online to try and work out what am doing wrong. I feel like it's something to do with remote path mappings as I came across this guide and tried to follow: https://trash-guides.info/Radarr/Radarr-remote-path-mapping/ But when I try to set up the remote path: And change the local path to my data share, the mnt folder is empty: Diagnostics attached in case they are needed to diagnose: node1-diagnostics-20231220-1458.zip Really appreciate any and all help.

Thank you @trurl, woke up today and my krusader copying had stopped at some point overnight and become inaccessible. Took the opportunity to shut down server and test cables, all connections seemed OK but re-seated anyways and cache drive now able to do smart test and sab has just successfully installed. If you get chance would you mind giving me a pointer as to what log you looked at in the diagnostic to realise the issue so I can start there in the future? was it the btrfs errors in syslog.txt? Thank you again! really appreciate your help.

Is that a problem? Sorry not purposely being obtuse but as I said, I don't know much about it all atm. I installed unraid to USB, put it in my machine, formatted drives, built array, created data share to use across all drives in array then installed: community plugins krusader so not sure how system stuff has ended up where it shouldn't have. Ooh that’s weird! Will give that a go once my data copy completes then. as a thought, I’m not actually using the cache drive right now for anything. It’s more for when everything is setup. If I temporarily removed the pool drive, reckon it would cause problems if I tried it later on once everything else is working and all apps (hopefully) installed? the unassigned devices are temporary. I’m moving to unraid from a windows server that had a 4 drive usb bay connected. I’ve connected it up so I can copy all the media over, once it completed they’ll come out of the caddy and get put into the unraid box correctly but need to get the data off first.

Thanks trurl, you can probably pre empt my next question then... Do you (or anyone else) have any suggestions on what to do next please? cache drive is showing as active with barely any space used. Disk2 has a few folders/files within. It shows 106gb used but when I browse the folders I can only see 26gb worth so maybe some are hidden. Attached a screenshot of that too. Thank you for any advice, am ashamedly out of my depth with unraid at this moment in time.

Hi folks, Sorry I've googled this first and tried following a guide by spaceinvaderone to make sure I'm not doing anything dumb. I've already got krusader installed and copying data across from USB to onboard drives so I've been able to install an app before. The command failed. the guide I was following doesn't say changing the install path from appdata so I've left it there. appdata share exists, can't see anything in it telling me it is read only. Any idea how to proceed please? Thank you
