Unable to create API Keys
Thank you very much! indeed, that helped. Though updating it was not so easy as here in China this requires some extra steps. Was probably still the version before I left

Unable to create API Keys
I know it might be a stupid question... but I really cannot see the option to generate an api key under the settings "management access". Please quickly guide me.

Unable to create API Keys
I am meanwhile also very frustrated. I am trying to run the unraid-api commands that are listed by unRAID but the only ones that work are the basic ones such as start, stop, restart etc. I cannot create an API key or use developer mode etc. as I get a fatal error that the commands do not exist

Multi-Monitor configuration for VMs - likely: graphcis card issue
ok... wow. That is quite a lot :) Thank you once more - then I will likely got for either this T600 or a 16xx series one. T600 seems to be great because it does not require additional power.

Multi-Monitor configuration for VMs - likely: graphcis card issue
Thank you very much for your response! I realize I indeed did not explicitly state that it is a pass-through system: yes. And inside Windows everything looks totally fine regarding drivers etc. That is why I believe meanwhile that it is "just" a hardware limitation of a super old card. It is good that you mention that AMD seems to be a bit less reliable - I might just directly buy a new card. Nothing too expensive anyhow. Actually I was considering an NVIDIA T600 as it is made for workstations and gaming etc. is anyhow not relevant so purely for Windows that might be best. Do you know if those T600 cards work well? What card do you use and do you also have the Server physically linked to your monitors?

A Small bump... I hope someone has a bit of input.

Multi-Monitor configuration for VMs - likely: graphcis card issue
Hello, I am not sure in which sub-forum this specifically fits so in case I missed the right one I apologize. Also, I could not find any adequate other posts - hopefully I did not miss any. I have the situation that I would like to use my unraid server (7.1.2) as or with a Win11 VM for some remaining things where I need Windows for. The server is located in my office. It is a modified old "normal" PC. I am adding the configuration below. My wish is that I could use a discrete graphics card with its outputs to directly display on my dual monitor setup which is close by. Here is where the issue starts and I believe meanwhile that it is due to the graphics card I am using: an old Radeon 6450. When the graphics card is installed in the VM Windows 10 (multifunction on, everything seems to be correct with drivers), I do get an image on one of the outputs (DP) but not the other (DVI). But also, the resolution is limited to 1600x900 which is very low. I also tried using Rustdesk to remotely use the VM without cable connection to my monitors and it also shows me very limited resolution options. Windows 11 is not working as there is actually really no driver anymore for this graphics card (at least I could not make it work). So the main 3 questions I would have: VMs can / should generally have no issues with multi monitors etc right? is it really likely the case that the graphics card is limiting everything? if so: is there any recommendation of a very basic but more modern graphics card that should have no issues running in such configuration? (btw. I have another Arc 380 in my server for transcoding which works well - but I had actually a lot of troubles and could not make the VM work nicely with it - hence a preference for AMD for such task) I hope I didn't forget any important info. (solved) Unmountable: No file system
Sorry to reopen this but I do not see the option "Check File system". I have started the array with "Maintenance mode" checked but this option is neither visible on the dashboard itself nor when I click on the "problematic" disk. Any chance you could point me with a bit more precision? Thank you! PS: I am on unraid 6.12.13 I can edit it: now I was able to format it with the plugin "unassigned disks" and then I was able touse it again.

Alte Hardware (Grafikkarte AMD 6450HD) nutzen - Deutscher Thread
Vielen Dank! Hatte das tatsächlich so gar nicht gefunden bisher. Dann wird es wenig Sinn machen, die Karte irgendwie da einzubauen. Man kann den Thread denke ich auch schließen (ich sehe leider keine Option hierfür)

Alte Hardware (Grafikkarte AMD 6450HD) nutzen - Deutscher Thread
Ganz herzlichen Dank vorab!

Make use of old graphics card (AMD 6450)
Good Day, after now searching for quite a while and not finding an answer, I dare to open my first thread here. Hopefully, I got it in the right topic. I have set up a simple server with my old hardware, running an old Intel® Core™2 Duo CPU E7400 with 4 GB of DDR2 in a very nice silent tower. And despite it being a quite low-powered system, I am actually very happy with the performance so far. All the things that I have tried so far worked (4K streaming via Plex as main purpose). Step by step I want to use the server for more things and the concrete next one I am looking at is setting up a very basic surveillance station using AgentDVR with an IP camera. Here I get to the question: I still have an old PCIe card (AMD 6450) lying around that I used back then in that system when it was a simple media PC. While this card surely can't do transcoding of videos, but could it still be useful for let's say decoding (or generally handling) videos from an IP camera? And if not, could there still be any use for such an (outdated) graphics card in a server? Btw: the integrated GPU of the mainboard is a Nvidia GeForce GT 120. Thank you in advance. As I am hoping for some additional (any) answers, I also posted this question into the German subforum: I hope this is ok.
