SMB Shares won´t show up in Windows Clients anymore after upgrade to UNRAID 7.0.0
In my case, the only time that the UNRAID server and shares appear is stopping the array. It appear instantly, and it goes away when started, this if you do 5 times. 5 times the same result. No matter wich windows terminal I use, the same result.

SMB Shares won´t show up in Windows Clients anymore after upgrade to UNRAID 7.0.0
Yeah, All windows terminal are updated and I waited a week or so to update UNRAID from it´s previous version to 7.0.0 most of it to take advantage of ZFS. In my scenario, all the 15 terminals stopped showing the server icon in the network neighborhood just after the update, and a few minutes back I tested stopping the array as I read above and same happened, server icon showed up and when array started again, server icon goes off. For the time being shares works reaching them as I mentioned before (\\servername or IP\share_name) and thing won´t escalated as a nightmare as sometimes after big updates may occur. Thanks!

SMB Shares won´t show up in Windows Clients anymore after upgrade to UNRAID 7.0.0
Hi and thanks for your post, and yes, I know what you say and I know it too, but we know that sometimes dealing with end customers is something you´ll never stop learning with what *stupid question they will come out, and as an IT professional, I need to behave myself no matter wrong the customer is. I tested stopping the array and the server name appears in all windows terminals and when the array is start again, it just goes away. When array stopped, no shares are being shown. All disks are in ZFS from scratch from previous version 6.x.x Thanks for supporting this. I´ll try that UD thing you meantioned, I´ll let you know how it goes. Regards

SMB Shares won´t show up in Windows Clients anymore after upgrade to UNRAID 7.0.0
I´m running UNRAID in a SOHO with 15 Windows 10/11 mixed clients. Accessing the shares using the \\servername or serverIP\sharedresource works. Simply can´t make understand my customer that before upgrading to 7.0.0 all of those windows settings wasn´t needed, and now is just a "let´s try all these and see what happens" is practically setting myself on fire when before the update everything was fine... I got your point of view, but best scenario for me right now is to roll back to previous UNRAID version and hope everything get back as it was and wait for the next update and test it in a non productive environment to check if this SMB issue is solved (of course, reading the changelog first). Regards

SMB Shares won´t show up in Windows Clients anymore after upgrade to UNRAID 7.0.0
Well, I´ve tried everything listed in this thread (thanks!) but noithing worked... also smbd restart / samba restart wich didn´t helped either, but now I can read other users are experiencing the very same as I do. Also I installed a few Windows VMs and the same behaviour remains. I´ll wait for DEVs to figure it out and hope they can find the issue soon. Thanks y´all!

SMB Shares won´t show up in Windows Clients anymore after upgrade to UNRAID 7.0.0
Hi! Thanks for the guide, but yes, all that is fine, I´m just experiencing this problem after upgrading to UNRAID 7.0.0, and all the Windows terminals are experiencing the same problem. Mixed Win10 and Win11. The windows shares are listed, but no UNRAID shares are listed in windows terminals, only the UNRAID SMB shares can be accessed by \\ServerName\Share only... Regards

SMB Shares won´t show up in Windows Clients anymore after upgrade to UNRAID 7.0.0
Hi! I´m experiencing the following issue: The SMB Shares won´t show up in Windows Clients anymore after upgrade to UNRAID 7.0.0 but if I access them like \\serverIP\sharename I can access the files and so on, but not "like before" where the server was available in the file explorer - network places and I could brose the folders shared of the server. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks!

UNRAID 6.12.11 + CGNAT + Cloudflare + Wordpress = DOCKER SLOW (7seg response time) VS Bitnami VM FAST (1seg response time)... Why?
OK, I think I made some progress with DOCKER and WORDPRESS install, but don´t know hot to resolve the problem behind. When installing Wordpress with Community Apps, in the setup´s variable "www" wich points to "Container Path: /var/www/html" I set it to "/mnt/user/appdata/wordpress/"... but if I leave this field blank.... BUM... Wordpress is super fast, from local network and also with Cloudflare redirects, there are no down performance at all. Each time I click it opens, not as before where each click is up to 7 seconds delay until it opens. So now my question is, how to improve the slow performance when the wordpress files are being accesed outside the container? This way goes fast: This way goes slow: Thanks!

UNRAID 6.12.11 + CGNAT + Cloudflare + Wordpress = DOCKER SLOW (7seg response time) VS Bitnami VM FAST (1seg response time)... Why?
Hello everyone! As the title say... UNRAID 6.12.11 + CGNAT + Cloudflare + Wordpress = DOCKER SLOW (7seg response time) VS Bitnami VM FAST (1seg response time)... Why? My home server is an HPE DL390 Gen9 with one Intel® Xeon® CPU E5-2640 v4 @ 2.40GHz and 64 GiB DDR4 Multi-bit ECC RAM and for the APPDATA, ISO and SYSTEM folders are cached in an SSD and working fine. I´m trying to run a store with Wordpress + Woocommerce and the response times using the UNRAID DOCKER Installation are awful... no matter what I tried... local or tunneled, every page is accesed in 7 seconds average... but after a lot of time coming back and forth... I tried the BITNAMI WORDPRESS VM and BUM... thing goes super fast, as local as tunneled with Cloudflare to my domain running the same Woocommerce plugins and demo theme... So here´s my question... Why is this happening? I´ve running on docker a media server with Jellyfin and Jellyseer... all good, love it, but when I tried to host my project of ecommerce... came with this results... DOCKER is the turtle and a VM is the rabbit... I don´t know if anyone had this same scenario and resolve it... or running Wordpress in a VM is the way to go... but I´m not happy with the outcome, I would like to run the store with a DOCKER container rather the VM... Thanks for reading! Have a good one.
