USB-C to Thunderbolt 3/4 to 10G Etherrnet Adapter
You're absolutely correct, missed that, my apologies. Here is what I would use instead. So where can I get a driver for Unraid to support?

USB-C to Thunderbolt 3/4 to 10G Etherrnet Adapter
The motherboard is: ASUSTeK COMPUTER INC. ROG STRIX B760-I GAMING WIFI Thunderbolt and USB-C aren't exactly the same, that cable will convert Thunderbolt 3 to USB-C.

USB-C to Thunderbolt 3/4 to 10G Etherrnet Adapter
Will this work for my primary network connection? Reason I ask is because I have no room in my NAS unit for 10G NIC (my mini-ITX motherboard only supports one PCIe slot which is for the SATA/SAS controller). This is the Thunderbolt 3 to 10G adapter. This is the USB-C to Thunderbolt 3/4 cable. Cheers, Rob.

How do I set my NIC to 2.5G?
I'm running Cat 8 cable to my 10Gbe switch and my Motherboard has an Intel 2.5G NIC which is recognized but is running at only 1Gbe. I can't seem to find anything in UI where I can bump this up to 2500? Cheers, Rob.

Unraid No longer boots from my USB drive?
UPDATE: Looks like the new UEFI now defaults to Secure Boot ... which was enabled. So I cleared the keys and disabled secure boot and all seems to be working well now. Rob.

Unraid No longer boots from my USB drive?
Good suggestion, but I do have it set to boot from USB drive and the drive shows up in UEFI correctly. EDIT: tried 3 different USB ports still nothing ... as soon as I remove the Unraid drive, my system will boot to EFI.

Unraid No longer boots from my USB drive?
Unraid was working yesterday and today. So today I needed to update the BIOS/EFI, shutdown (via UnRaid WebGUI), remove UnRaid flash drive, put in my other flash drive with latest UEFI, installed the updated UEFI, modified EFI settings back to what is needed for IOMMU enabled, Virtualization enabled ... all good. I plugged the Unraid flash drive into the same USB port, try to boot and nothing ... like nothing at all, just a blank screen no prompt to select what Unraid mode to load, nada. My fear is Unraid has somehow tied itself to BIOS/UEFI version when I entered licensed Unraid? So now with the new EFI it doesn't think it's a valid license ?? Just guessing here because I have no idea why Unraid just decided to no longer boot? EDIT: boots into my UEFI with no problem if I remove the Unraid Flash drive. Rob.

Unraid Connect needed?
Thanks for the information/input. I don't need or want remote access, all will be handled local. Cheers, Rob.

Unraid Connect needed?
Thanks for the link, so answer is "No" ... in fact Unraid connect seems to have a reliance on other servers that would increase the potential for downtime? "If the Internet goes down and you lose access to DNS, do the following: If Use SSL/TLS is set to Yes, then you can access your server using: https://[servername].[localTLD] or https://[servername].[localTLD]:<https_port> (if your https port is not the default of 443) If that doesn't work, or if Use SSL/TLS is set to Strict, then using telnet, SSH or local keyboard/monitor log in to the server and type: use_ssl no Now you will be able to access your server's webgui via: http://<ip_address> (note: http not https) or http://<server_ip>:<http_port> (if your http port is not the default of 80) When the Internet comes back, navigate to Settings -> Management Access and set Use SSL/TLS back to Strict to re-enable local SSL." Doesn't appear to be anything that would make Plex server installation easier? Cheers, Rob.

I'm setting up my UnRaid server for primary use as Media only server using Plex server/client approach. What does Unraid Connect bring to the table that I need for my goal? Cheers, Rob.
