Soo hat etwas gedauert, hab nu Zeit gehabt fuer nen neuen Stick und auch der Server wurde komplett neu auufgesetzt war nix wichtiges, doch ich war zu unfaehig bei Unraid connect den alten Lizenzschluessel auf die Neue USB zu registreiren jetzt laeuft der neue MediaServer halt im 30 Tage testmodus.
Hab auc macindabox installiert und eine VM, nu wollt ich was anderes instrallieren und diese loesen, liess sich ducht den normalen klick remove VM or remove VM and images nicht removen, hab die ordner manuell geloescht doch die VM wird imemrnoch angezeit udn ich bekomm die aus dewr anzeige nicht heraus, ich hab mal bein aktuelles dignosticfile angehangen.
Evtl is ja woanders der wurm drinn und ich sehs nur nicht.
Gibts ne commandoline moeglichkeit diese VM zu deinstallieren aus Unraid weg? Bestimmt gibts die doch ists der beste weg? wenn es in Unraid nicht mit klick laeft is doch was buggy oder?Danke schonmals

ok danke werd ich wohl dann am sammstag in angriff nehmen bis dahin keine zeit zum spielen mit dem bubu server
danke dir aufjedenfall ( btw wo finde syslog mirror) keine ahnung was das ist und ob es an ist doch wenns an ist hab ich wohl damit den stick geschritet wie du meintest
da ich noch zugriff auf das ding hab werd ich diesen config ordner sichern und in den neuen stick reincopieren nachem ich die Installation auf dem stick durch hab. Sopnnigen Tag dir

Komisch email kam an hhioer is kein eintrag zu sehen, ok also neuen Stick besorgen dann unraid einfach draufhaun und wenn er nach registrierung fragt brauch ich dann nur onloien einloggen und er weiss dann wie ich ihn eingestellt hatte ? gibt bestimmt irgendow nen Link auf dem formum denk ich mal muss ich nur noch finden. Danke Dir nochmals fuer die fixe hilfe

muss ich da mit chmod was aendern oder den ganzen Stick plaetten oder gar einen anderen kaufen ?
Wie gehe ich nun am besten vor da ich die daten nun nicht extra rummcopieren will -
Mein kleiner Server auf dem kaum was laeuft is mal; da im Netzerk mit seinen Share Laufwerken mal is er weg (ca 2 sec takt linear).
Updaten kann ich ihn auch net is auf 6.12.8 und kann weder 9 alsauch 10 installieren am ende bricht er ab und rollt back... im Anhang mein logfile danke schonmal in vorraus fuer ne Idee.

habs gab in dem docker eine zeile mit commands und weiter hinten konnte ich es eingeben also war confiog file suchen umsonst aber danke schonmal

ich meine nicht die Unraid Config sondern die Soulmaks Dedizierter server steam cnofig... bei mir is dieser auf cache/appdata/soulmask doch finde ich in allesn unterodnern keine server config nur die Jasons um die verscheidenen maps einzustellen aber keine server name und PW einstellungs config

Hi leute wollte mal Fragen ob jemand ne Idee hat in welchem ordner auf unraid oder wo die config Dataei ist die ich mit nano aendern muss das der server einen anderen namen un PW bekommt, such mir schon nen Hengst und dacht mir ich frag mal das Schwarmbewustsein evtl hast sachon jemand mal gemacht

Found the manual moving and forcing now the move from cache to array directory

I changed the Primary directory away from one of my cache Pool drives, so all media Files will be at the array.
My system tells me the mover is working (cant Stop array button greyed out) but i dont see any changes in the Used/Free GB numbers neither at my Pool sdd nor at my Array HDD
is there a way to see if he is still working? I turned all dockers off meanwhile. But the numbers dont change after some tiem i would copied it by hand allready.
What now ?

In My Unraid i dont see any dockers under Appdata they are still
ok noone can help me and i dont liek to waioit few dazs on a possible solution, i will make now a IMG docker and see if that works more stable.
I would really liek to know why this happens

I restarted all Docker an dnow all Dockerts are gone ... lol ?!?

The containers are not there anymore but still working in the CPU ?!? lol

I was happy cause my server with all dockers worked like 2 days without any error, now in last Minutes out of a sudden dockers are lost and off and i dont know what happend or what to do now
is there a possibility to get the system back as it was or do i need to deinstall all dockers again and install them again?
Anyboy a Idea what hits my server config still that i have docker problems ? Thx

I got a NIGNX Docker on Unraid running and i wanted to go over SMB Shares to the directory appdata/nginx/www and change its content
the User i am connected with has write and read access on appdata and can delete or make directoys in appdata but on NGINX directory and subdirectorys he cand do anything and i ask me why
If i just wanna delete the index.html in the directory it asks me for root i say ok and it tells me i have no access.
how do i connect with a dev tool over Local network (SMB) and change HTML content in that directory ?

yes over this day i had no issues, after i changed the SDD cache with errors and formated both every in its own pool it works.
it seems something happend last morning again i had to hardreset my unraid system and it needet quite a few minutes to come up, but with suprise i hade to see all dockers and VM<s were there and up and running.

and wanna try the multistream ability of unmraid also soon
when evereything works more than 5 days i start to host different websides but therfore i need more top learn about doickes if i need to clone them how virtualisation networks work and so on so next 2 week i have enough to play with.

There should be no need to access the files in docker.img (or the docker folder). You are supposed to map anything you need to access to host storage. That is what appdata is all about, and that is what the other path mappings are all about.
Things in docker.img (or the docker folder) will be lost when a container updates, or when you reinstall a container.
To use Docker not as a Img was a advise from a German Youtube Streamner that does mutch Unraid content
So what shall i do now,
i just dont understand till now why this server hag up sometimes it it cause i choose docker as a directory so i have to change this, or is it cause Unraiud uses Ram alike a HDD and when its full it gets a overload and my Server freezes in the night and i have to change ram configuration or run less dockes at once >?

This means that it has limited storage space in its file system. So that Linux (or Docker) apps that are not aware of the this may be storing 'user' data on this RAM 'disk' thinking that is actually writing to a physical disk! IF your Dockers apps all have support threads on the forum, they should already be setup to address this issue---(Read the support thread). If they do not, you will have to check to see that if you have any Dockers containers that are saving 'user' data that they are setup so that this storage is on a physical disk.
This is usually done by editing the Docker Container to specify a Host Path that maps a Container Path to a Host Path-- a physical disk on your Unraid server file system.

Those are Appdata mappings, unrelated to the Docker system itself.
If you lost things then it's the path you gave for your Docker folder that matters.
Best to not change defaults if you have no idea why, image is safer when you don't understand the whole system...
ok this RAm bar is not related to Ram
this morning just the server didnt respond i had to hardreset it to get it work again
and i like the docker as directory so i am able to handle files better over SMB
