  1. @DataCollector @alturismo Danke euch für die Infos. Das freut mich, ein User Script weniger 😅
Habe jetzt bzgl. xfs scrub danach gegoogelt bzw. mal folgendes ausgeführt: root@MediaServer:~# xfs_scrub --help EXPERIMENTAL xfs_scrub program in use! Use at your own risk! xfs_scrub: invalid option -- '-' Usage: xfs_scrub [OPTIONS] mountpoint Options: -a count Stop after this many errors are found. -b Background mode. -C fd Print progress information to this fd. -e behavior What to do if errors are found. -k Do not FITRIM the free space. -m path Path to /etc/mtab. -n Dry run. Do not modify anything. -p Only optimize, do not fix corruptions. -T Display timing/usage information. -v Verbose output. -V Print version. Use at your own risk! macht mich stuzig.
  4. thx a lot for the explanation. Now the high-water level working is clear to me. So i have to raise the warning levels from 70%/90% to something like 96%/98%.
Was sagt ihr dazu?
  6. ok, danke.
Danke
Was empfiehlst du stattdessen? (xfs)
Danke
  13. Have you disconnected HDMI cable to the monitor? In my case when the iGPU is active, it also reaches lower C states and consumes more power. Try to measure the power consumption maybe as @mgutt stated, it reaches low power state. This is a good starting point: boot ubuntu live from usb disconnect all not needed peripheral set hdd sleep to 1 min (if any hdd connected) install and run powertop (sudo apt get powertop) disconnect monitor wait 2 min meassure with an kill-a-watt (or similar) Wait again 2 min connect monitor check powertop results Good luck
  14. @travelingalex That's weird. Some ideas: Is your BIOS up-to-date? Reset BIOS to factory default's Give it a try.
  15. thx a lot, installed it Just my thought's: That should be an default "feature" (maybe with an popup). I don't want to know how many of us users, was just pressing the power button or do an force reboot, because of this.
  16. Same issue for me guys. I had an SSH terminal open which just was sitting idle at the path /mnt/user/. This prevented the shutdown of the array, see syslog: Oct 4 16:09:33 MediaServer root: rmdir: failed to remove '/mnt/user': Device or resource busy Oct 4 16:09:33 MediaServer emhttpd: shcmd (1939176): exit status: 1 Oct 4 16:09:33 MediaServer emhttpd: shcmd (1939178): rm -f /boot/config/plugins/dynamix/mover.cron Oct 4 16:09:33 MediaServer emhttpd: shcmd (1939179): /usr/local/sbin/update_cron Oct 4 16:09:33 MediaServer emhttpd: Retry unmounting user share(s)... So the solution was just to exit the ssh session! @limetech would be nice if after 3x unmount retry a force dialog would pop up!?
  17. Just do the oposite. Remove the script, open an terminal and input every command you want to manually test.
  18. @mgutt did you found a way to control the leds of the I225/I226? They are to bright on my card. It seems there was an patch in the kernel that they get exposed in /sys/class/leds but they are not here. Maybe because our kernel is too old because it's the LTS one. Here is the patch: https://lore.kernel.org/all/[email protected]/ Not needed anymore: See above!
  19. ok, so here is my update about the genuine Intel I226-T1 (Intel number: I226T1BLK). Tests done with: Mainboard: Gigbyte H610i RAM: 2X16GB PSU: picoPSU-XT-160 CPU: 12th Gen Intel® Core™ i3-12100T @ 2178 MHz Cache: 1x Samsung 980 NVMe M.2 SSD, 1 TB Array: Seagate 1x 14TB & 2x 20TB Bios Settings: Enabled all BIOS settings regarding power save, ASPM, ... some of which PCIe ASPM L0sL1 and just L0s Intel C-State: Enabled C1E Support: Enabled Package State Limit: C10 Disabled HD Audio Controller/COM/LPT Unraid state: booted all Dockers & VM stopped HDD's spun down EEE enabled in go boot config file No device is accessing unraid, so it's idle The results are: With onboard I219-V enabled with 1G link, no PCIe card: Power consumption: ~12,4 Watt deepest c state: C8 With onboard I219-V disabled and I226-T1 in PCIe slot with 2,5GBE Link: Power consumption: ~12,1 Watt deepest c state: C6 It's basically the same power consumption (but i have not meassured the average!) It seems the I226-T1 is preventing the cpu to reach C8. Seems like the same @mgutt above posted, but he reached C7. Maybe the power consumption is not higher because the I226-T1 is the newest chipset with EEE support. So the result's are ok for me. UPDATE: NIC showed an 2,5GBE link an hour later, but was NOT reachable! So it's not stable for me :-( P.S.: Same Switch & cable where the realtek 2,5GBE was stable. So i will return it and activate the onboard 1 GBE NIC again.
  20. Thanks, working as expected with one folder in extra files. Will add a second later, but will also expect, that it works. Hugh thanks!
  21. thx a lot finding/fixing the issue! Just let me know when it's online, i am here to test.
  22. I have shared it, the id is: 6bdd1a47-e72d-43a9-aa78-89dd8153fc2c The included extra folder exists and is accessible (currently backing it up with an user script), see: Here are some pictures from my settings:
  23. @mgutt thx for your tests regarding the I226. Looks promising. I have now ordered a I226-T1 card and will post my results. @spyrosj i have an i3-12100T and disabled turbo boost/speedstep & XMP. With those enabled it took about ~2 Watt more idle on no load but spiked much more often (because of frequency spikes (turbo boost)). The performance for my use case (media server & NAS) is ok. Because it's idling most of the time of a day, i have decided to get the lowest idle consumption and not performance. But sure, it's up to your workload and usage of the sever. Ps.: See above here for reference:
  24. I have NOT added "/mnt/user/appdata/dienstplan_importer/" (which hold's the extra files i want to include in the backup) to the sources. Just added "/mnt/user/appdata/dienstplan_importer/" to "extra backup files". But it does'nt include it in the backup and also NO hints (error/warning/...) log entry will be shown. So i can't share a log, because i does'nt have an hint's about an issue. That's the same behaviour as stated by @samsausages back in ~2023. Can you please try to reproduce it? thx
  25. @KluthR any hint's regarding my questuion above? It seem's the issue is because of exclusive shares changes in unraid. Would be nice if this get's fixed. If you need someone to test, i am here. thx
