  1. Hi everyone, I am new to Unraid and have been using and tinkering with Unraid for about a month now and while there are a lot of great things about it, I have a few thoughts and requests which i will put in point form below. Please note that I am coming from TrueNAS Scale and Synology so some of these suggestions are based on that OS. 1. Can we please have some form of 2FA login like TOTP and hardware key support. 2. There is no implementation of RClone baked into the OS. The RClone docker is not at all user friendly. Maybe implement something like Cloud Sync on Truenas Scale. Simple to use and understand. Also, an easy Rsync setup would be great as well. 3. I believe a NAS OS is supposed to be able to, first and foremost, backup all information to a local device. That being said, outside of Synology DSM there doesn't seem to be any easy way to do this completely. Let me explain. I am using this Unraid box at home to backup the information of 5 family members. The household consists of 4 Macs, 3 Windows PC's, 1 iPad, 3 iPhones and 2 Android phones. I have successfully been able to connect my windows machines to Unraid, that's it. I have tried numerous times to backup the Macs, but have encountered issues with share discoverability and failed backup completion or backup consistency. Phone backups are not supported at all, out of the box. I understand that there are Dockers for most of this stuff, but I am always considering those that are newcomers and that Unraid is supposed to be one of the easiest OS's to use for backup. If a less user friendly OS like Truenas Scale can implement some of these features in a user friendly way, I think that it would be great for Unraid to have them all so that a new user could just install Unraid, connect any device and start backing up with only a few easy steps without having to install anything else. This would reserve dockers and plugins mostly for any extra features that someone may or may not want like Nextcloud, Plex, etc. I look forward to using Unraid more and eventually implementing it as a total backup solution. My setup is: HP Z600 Workstation Dual Intel Xeon CPU X5660 @ 2.80GHz - 12 Core/24Thread total Stock NVidia Quadro FX3800 GPU (for now) 96GB of DDR3 ECC ram 2-20TB Seagate Ironwolf Pro drives (Array) 2-20TB Exos drives (Array) XFS single parity array drives 2-1TB Ironwolf Pro 125 SSD cache drives in BTRFS raid1
