  1. Look for any error or warning related information in system log file which indicate the cause of the error.

  3. To set up passwordless ssh access to unraid from a Linux or Mac OS X machine by using PuTTY. Generate SSH key on your Linux or Mac OS by using PuTTYgen. Open the PuTTY configuration windows and connect to unraid server. To check the process of this go to https://puttykeyinfo.com/
  4. You have to contact to unraid support for license key is correctly applied and allow for appropriate number of device.
  5. make sure that there is no file in use during the mover operation, check that both cache drive and array have the significant free space for the file being moved.
  6. If your cache drive is faster than other drive, unraid will prefer to write data to the cache first for better performance. But if your cache drive is slow than, unraid will skip it and write data directly to the other drive.
  7. Thanks for sharing your experience about successfully upgraded Windows 10 VM to 11 on unraid by changing the BIOS setting and using the Windows 11 installation Assistant.
  8. You have to disable the cache drive temporary to make sure that the files are written directly to array. This will force the unraid to write directly to the array, bypass the cache.
