thx ive found it under advanced view or how its called I found out that my logs / error messages (something i did only see at the connected screen) shows core 10. So i excluded core 10 from Docker as first test and then i excluded in general. append initrd=/bzroot isolcpus=10 nohz_full=10 rcu_nocbs=10 btw: i searched in connection with Immich for MONTHS!!! and didnt find out that its apparently a broken cpu

Well, i am about to place personal photos, personal data and company data. I dont want thiefs (unlikely but possible) to grab that stuff when they decide to enter the building

Thanks i am not sure what/if i would need to do to have proper like snapshots. ZFS is too risky for me, so question would be xfs or btrfs. I like to run encryption (and it seems i cant switch from non encrypted to encrypted...), so is there something id need to consider? What would be best way to switch from non encrypted to encrypted? It was just for a test but in meanwhile i did some data transfer, setting up docker etc :-D didnt expect it to last (due to cpu error, discussed in another thread).

For me situation is ok since i disabled core 10 that showed up in the logs while waiting for replacement (slow RMA somehow) How could i/we set the order of dockers when doing like a restart? I didnt yet see any option for that, so how do i make sure that certain containers start before others?

Well i understand 2 parity disks the way that it can rebuild data if up to 2 disks fail isnt it like that? i had once a hhd fail, then during rebuild the second disk failed and all data was lost So i like to have an option to rebuild if up to 2 disks fail beside that i have like mentioned 2 more nas to backup important stuff. but still wondering if i should use btrfs, xfs or zfs

I did now exclude Core10 from the Container which did work pretty well and then i exclude from Unraid itself. Meanwhile i wait for cpu replacement. Wondering i then everything will be fine. PS: There was a even newer bios, but that didnt help

Hello Guys, i am wondering what would be the best file system or file system combination for me. Ive got 6 Disks so far and id actually like to have a 2 disk redundancy (hope thats correct; so up to 2 disks may fail with no data loss). Beside these normal disks ive got a 2TB ssd that could serve as Cache I am using only Windows PCs and some devices like Scanner that access the Server. Beside that i need some Dockers (Paperless-NGX, Immich, Nextcloud, ...) and maybe in future a VM for like 3CX Phone-System My idea was that i get a cache with the SSD, a storage with Parity for the most secure stuff (dont want to loose this data) and some pool for like not so important stuff that i might just put somewhere in case i will need it one day. As ive got 2 NAS still, i am able to backup also stuff that is in a pool with no redundancy All data or at least certain data should be encrypted in case some guy breaks in and steals the server :-) Thanks in advance

So there is an option that my cpu is damaged due to that it did run without the latest bios at first and now i cant "recover" it?! Then ill give a note to the vendor, maybe they replace it Memtest was passed for sure, i remember in meanwhile. I did some special memtest boot stick. Anyway, ill give it a chance with just a single ram stick now and if it persists, i swap them Any more ideas to get closer to the issue? Can you see something from what i shared from my screen?

Thanks i did the latest bios upgrades already in the past. Also a full check of the RAM which was ok. (at least what i remember, was some time ago) Meanwhile i did set up the server a few times to see whats going on with the paperless-ngx and i cant get it running anymore at all. Seems that unraid did update to latest version today, not sure if there is a bug when using paperless-ngx. Otherwise ive got no idea what could avoid paperless to run if i set up the whole system from scratch. Im now doing a test with the latest v6 Any ideas how i can get the exact problem? Like some error that says 100% RAM issue or 100% CPU issue? Here is what i get on my monitor after a fresh usb stick setup (with the official unraid usb stick tool) with latest v6. I did see that with v7 also, but sometimes the GUI comes to live anyway - this time server is not reachable
