All, I'm having trouble adding another expansion card. Is this possible or is the card trash? Environment: "Tower" - MOBO: SuperMicro X10DRH-iT - CPU1 - Page 10 of X10DRH-iT manual. All PCIe slots are empty. - CPU2 - Page 10 of X10DRH-iT manual. Look at the manual to see the PCIe slots tied to various lanes. - PCIe 3.0 x 8 - Slot 6 - LSI 9211-8i in IT mode, 4 drives attached to card via SFF-8087. No issues. No room in case to use 2nd port. - PCIe 3.0 x 16 - Slot 4 - GTX-1050 - no issues. Built a JBOD to tie in additional drives (currently ready to pre-clear 36TB): - "JBOD" box - "PS" - 600W Gold PS fully modular. - MOBO power cable has 24 pin jumper attached so it powers on, fans run, etc. - 3 drives - 2 - 14TB and 1 - 8TB connected to the SFF-8088 to 4 x SAS SFF-8482 male end coming from "Tower". Amazon link. - molex male from "Tower" is connected to molex female going into the "PS". All drives should have power. Trying to add: "Tower" - PCIe 3.0 x 8 - Slot 7 - LSI 9201-16e, SFF-8088 to 4 X SAS SFF-8482 + molex connected to JBOD molex PS cables. Problem: - Yesterday, I received an error when I plugged the 9201 in. 000Ah maybe? It did at least throw an error. - When booting Tower now, it only recognizes the 9211 in slot 6. - I've set the MOBO BIOS PCIe bifurcation to auto for 1a (slot 5 - 9201-16e). auto for 2a (slot 6 - 9210-8i). and 16X for 3a (slot 4 - GTX-1050). I Pulled the 9211 with just the 9201 in slot 6, rebooted, still doesn't recognize the 9201. Moved the card to slot 2. Nothing. No hint of showing itself. Is the 9201 trash? System won't even recognize the fooker so I can flash to IT. Ugghhh.
