  1. Hi everyone, I'm currently running unRAID on an old thinclient to test it out looking for some feedback on my part selection for my proper build and any suggestions you might have to improve power efficiency and reduce noise or if i over speced anything. Here are my details: Current planed List: https://de.pcpartpicker.com/list/8tkV9c Budget: ~1400€ with the case, but I'm always looking to save a bit if possible. Drive Capacity: for now 16TB usable should be enough, but i could live with 8 at first and add a drive later Additional Apps: I plan to run Jellyfin for media streaming(with transcoding at times hopefully o the iGPU), the Arrs (Sonarr, Radarr, etc.), and some VMs. Occasionally, I might run a game server i.e. Minecraft. Noise is a rather important topic for me as I'm up in a loft and the server would live down below the stairs but even then i would like it to be as quiet as possible Ideally i would like the CPU to be cooled completely passively at idle, my hope is that that cooler is large enough for that, does anyone have experience with that? Other Notes: From my understanding, having a cache pool on the SSDs and storing appdata there is a good practice. I do have some old 500GB SATA SSDs laying around but i don't know if i'd trust them Thanks you for your help!
