No luck yet on adjusting power limit directly on Unraid. Since you have a good igpu for transcoding, maybe passthrough the dusty gpu to a linux VM. I think it's easier to install LACT/CoreCtrl on a VM and adjust power limit there. I haven't tried it though, since my GPU is locked for transcoding and i don't want to setup Jellyfin server through VM.

My Unraid 7.2.0 server uses AMD E9173 which is like Radeon WX2100 with lower power limit, itself is a cutdown Polaris RX 550. It's for Jellyfin transcoding and light game streaming through Steam Headless docker. Gaming performance is underwhelming with only 17W power limit. Is there a way to increase this power limit in Unraid? Google says LACT or CoreCtrl can adjust this limit but i have no idea how to get it running under Unraid. To be clear, the GPU is not under any VM. Also, this is not my primary gaming rig so maximum performance is not my concern. I just want to smooth out some indie games when i stream to Steam Deck (to save battery).

Hi, Per title, i am about to swap the CPU on my Unraid server. Currently it has Xeon 2680 v4 having 14c/28t. I assigned the first four cores to Unraid and the last remaining ten to my VMs. One of those VMs is Windows 10 that i use to stream games that i assign 8 cores exclusively. I experience a bit of stutter occasionally and would like to see if overclocked Xeon 1680 v3 will help. 1680 v3 only has 8c/16t. As you can see, the new CPU doesn't have enough cores and i have to redistribute them. What is the procedure to ensure smooth swap? Edit: I plan to assign all 8c/16t to both Unraid and VM. As in, there is no longer dedicated core to the VM nor Unraid.

Yes i was hoping to avoid this but it seems there's no easier way around this issue. I did as you suggested and other than a slight problem with maintenance mode on Nextcloud, it works. Thank you.

Hi, I encountered similar issue with Mover. I wanted Appdata, Domains and System folder completely off the Array and moved to my RAID1 SSD Cache Pool (2x512GB). Appdata and Domains have successfully been moved into my Cache but some subfolders and docker image under System are still on my Array. The problem is the same as @Greyberry, where files under /docker/overlay2/ are causing Mover to freeze. I tried stopping and restarting Mover, but it seems to keep freezing on the same file. Deleting these files manually (rm -r *filename*) only seems to shift the freeze to other files under the same subfolder. My end goal is to allow my Array to rest and spindown at low activity period which, to my knowledge, isn't possible if i don't 100% move this System folder (along with the docker image within it). Attached is some log examples at which point mover freezes. Any help? overlay2 mover freeze.txt

Thank you, it works now. In the end, I don't change this: http://[IP]:[PORT:8081]/vnc.html?autoconnect=true I keep using port 8081. I only change the port setting so that Container Port is now 8080 and host is 8081 (as your second suggestion).

Hi! I'm trying to install your litecoin-core docker but i can't seem to access the WebGUI (error: Unable to connect) I'm doing my best to follow the configuration from your docker hub page (https://hub.docker.com/r/ich777/litecoin-core) Port 8080 is already used by other docker so i changed it to port 8081. I haven't tried to set VNC password yet. To my knowledge, the docker works and pulls blockchain data as it should (i tried stopping the docker, deleted all files and folders under /mnt/user/litecoin where i configured the data to be placed, started the docker and i can see new files being created). Attached is my docker template, did i do anything wrong? Please note i'm completely new to docker. This is my first custom docker template.
