  1. Not an answer for replacing Unraid login via an authenticator, however this post came up tops in a search of authelia etc... A heads up for anyone looking at Authelia: I've just got VoidAuth up and running in Docker, and it's virtually idiot proof in comparison... I've had Authelia running for a while, but it's not the easiest to setup and configure (and I'm always concerned about fixing it if it goes wrong). Voidauth was mentioned on Lemmy recently and it's taken me about 5mins to get it running from a Docker Compose file; you just need to populate passwords in the compose file and then login with the user / pass from the logs (changing them immediately of course). From there you set all your domains and user access within the VoidAuth webui. The Caddy config for each service is then just a few extra lines as mentioned in the VoidAuth guide. I have a block at the top that I call with every subdomain. If you're running an Unraid server with a reverse proxy, getting this running is child's play for authentication of services (and hopefully one day, Unraid). I'm sure someone will make it for the Community Apps soon to save the Compose creation.
  2. 16GB has worked fine for me on V6, but upgrading to V7 has shown it a little stressed at times, mainly due to the Windows10 VM. I had an Elitedesk 800 and Z230 spare when moving to Unraid, and the Z230 turned out a great option due to it having 5 SATA ports. Coupled with the i7 and it's been a belter of an old PC for Unraid. It was a Hackintosh for me in a previous life, so the £100 I paid for it once upon a time has been paid back several times over. This is my SATA card for extra ports. https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B0BCKK5D3J
  3. Came across your question as I Googled i5 9500... Just to say that I run a HP Z230 SFF i7 4790 16GB, with 8 drives (3 HDD, 5 SSD), that runs about 15 Docker containers (Plex, Resilio, Immich etc) and 2 VMs (Ubuntu & Win10), and it performs admirably. I don't run any Wireguard or VPN on it as my firewall handles that (UDM Pro SE). I have a no name SATA expansion card that I really should upgrade, but the server has run without issue now for 8 months+. It has two Intel NIC that I had spare; a dual 10 GbE, and quad 1GbE. File transfers to the striped SSD max out at about 300MB/sec. It runs in my garage in its own cupboard (without its lid on due to the number of drives!), using a USB exhaust fan to keep it cool, so noise is not an issue for me. I started up again with Unraid with V6 (I had a V4 license), and have kind of ended up with it as an experiment that has become my full-time server.
