I use the Redump PS2 Isos PS2 DVD Games should be compressed with the createdvd method because it gives better compression and better load times and performance in PCSX2

I tried to use Putty to connect to my unraid server.. in the Settings SSH is enabled on port 22 but when I try to connect I always get access denied after I entered my password.. and yes the password is correct. I can login with it on the web ui Am I doing anything wrong? I am still quiet a beginner and don't understand why it isn't working

Hello Everyone! I had a "games" folder inside my data share on my array I added a new 4 TB HDD to my array. I just want my isos, roms etc to be on this drive! So I created a new share called games and configured it like this (see screenshot) but according to the file manager and Main tab the disk 2 is empty and everything is still on disk 1. I tried to run the mover, but nothing happens. I once heard I should only copy from share to share, but never from disk to disk. What can I do now?

Hey Everyone. I have a question. I have only 1 GPU in my Server (Nvidia 1050 ti) I wanna pass it through to a VM so I can use it to transcode video with DVDfab. Is that possible with this method? Also: will Plex still be able to use that GPU when the VM is running?

Hey Everyone! I have unassigned devices Installed and wanna mount a Fat32 formated USB drive. It's also MBR and not GPT the mount button is greyed out. I don't know why :-\ I am pretty new to Unraid. Can someone help?

I deleted the core.jar and jdownloader.jar and it didn't help the container is also not full. only 300 mb used of 32gb what is a scrub and how do I do that? nevermind.. got it to work, had to delete tmp and update folder as well

My jDownloader stopped working. When I try to launch the web ui Jdownloader tries to install an update but it crashes with this error Sometimes it also says my Synthetica (or something like it) license is expired How can I fix this?

just checked every docker I have. They're all mapped correctly to /mnt/user/sharename I'll read what Itimpi mentioned and then copy these files myself, thanks

Hello everyone! I have a share called "media" which is configured to only store data on the array and not use my cache_ssd at all. Today I saw that 130 GB of my SSD is used up. I checked what's on the ssd and it had a folder called media and inside were some files I recently downloaded/extracted with Sabnzbd. When I ran mover manually the files stayed on the ssd I don't understand how they got there, like I said I configured the media share to not use the cache ssd and I definitely didn't copy those files there manually. Is it safe to copy them myself from disk to disk? I head that you should always copy from share to share, not from disk to disk

I often use the reconnect feature of Jdownloader and I wasn't able to get it to work with bridge, but I guess I'll have to change it back to bridge again then. thx for the quick answer!

Hey! I have a problem with jdownloader. I specify the port 9247 in the docker settings, but it is totally ignored and the web gui is only reachable on port 8080. Does someone know what the problem here is?

I was dying 1000 deaths here now because I thought I will lose everything. windows definitely showed me MUSIC and music and windows both showed me they are empty but deleting music on unraid solved it and now everything is back. thank you very much ❤️

Hello everyone! I have a big problem. I am new to unraid and I setup my first server 3 weeks ago I have 2x 16tb Drives (seagate ironwolf pro). Parity is ok I have a share called media Inside is my music folder with ~300 gb files. I wanted to listen to some music now, but my media player didn't showed me any files. I checked my media share and I saw that I have 2 music folders now music and MUSIC Both are empty! All my music is gone (no other folder is affected). Is there a log file somewhere so I can check what happened? Can I restore the files somehow? I definitely didn't delete them myself The files were there on the weekend! edit: seems like this is an issue on windows. when I enter ls -l /mnt/user/media/MUSIC I see all my music and the /mnt/user/media/music folder seems to be empty. Can someone tell me what I should do so I don't lose anything?

Danke für deine ausführliche Hilfe. Ich versteh zwar was du mir versuchst zu erklären und habe den server ans laufen bekommen, aber das mit den extra Parametern klappt nicht. Immer wenn ich versuche Extra Parameter einzufügen krieg ich die Meldung "The command failed". Gibt es eine möglichkeit extra Parameter hinzuzufügen auf anderen weg? Ich muss den Server mit Parametern starten die oben erwähnt sind (und will z.b sv_cheats 1 auf 0 ändern) edit: nevermind! hab es hinbekommen Musste die extra parameter als Post Arguments einfügen! Mal schauen ob ich auch den COD 5 Server hin kriege! Ich danke auf jeden Fall vielmals!

Hallo Zusammen! Ich bin total neu auf dem Unraid Gebiet und habe noch nie vorher mit Docker gearbeitet. Bin kein totaler PC Noob, aber bin richtig froh das es die Community Applications gibt. Dank Spaceinvader Ones Videos komm ich mit denen super zurecht! Ich würd mir gern 2 Gameserver installieren, die ich leider bei den Community Apps nicht finde. Und zwar geht es um folgende Games: Call of Duty 4 - Modern Warfare Call of Duty 5 - World at War. Ich hab folgende Docker über die Google Suche gefunden: https://github.com/qdm12/cod4-docker https://github.com/matracey/docker-codwaw Kann mir vielleicht jemand für Anfänger erklären wie ich diese Docker Container bei Unraid installieren/nutzen kann oder mich in die richtige Richtung zu einem Tutorial oder so verweisen? no, the tool had no effect on the folders with Dr-xr-xr-x permissions. I had to change those manually

I already ran the New Permissions tool many times. Using google I found this I used this command and got rid of the plus. I ran new permissions again, but some folders are still dr-xr-xr-x I have some basic linux knowledge, but I can't remember how to change the permission on the folder. If you could help me here I'd much appreciate it. Edit: seems like I fixed it. running find /mnt/user/media -type d -exec chmod 777 {} \; changed all permissions on my folders inside pictures

doesn't this mean that the Screenshots directory doesn't have write permissions? Also I have this + here on the picture folder. Which means I messed up on the windows side if I understand the guide correctly?

I get the exact same error on two other computers. But except of "You require permission from S-1-5-21..." it says "you require permission from unschwitz/nobody..."
