  1. @bmartino1 Wow, first thank you for taking the time to have such a detailed response. The lan IP 192.168.95.200 is NOT the docker host. I guess in short, I am trying to mirror the same functionality as br0 on another ethernet port that is not the unraid host. From everything I am reading, it seems like it may not be possible. Hopefully you can let me know how to mirror this? I have tried IPVLAN, MACVLAN, and Bridge. I am have at least gotten more comfortable this weekend with docker command line, so the weekend was't a total waste. I need the lan IP to be 192.168.95.200 while the docker containers have an IP of 172.18.0.X. on eth3 Hopefully, you can come up with a way to make this scenario to work?
  2. Hello! So my weekend has been goind down the rabbit hole of docker networking for unraid. This seemed like a simple task for what I was trying to do, but, wow, this turned out to be alot harder than I thought. Can someone please help me with the getting this configured?!?! Server Info: - 4 Physical Network Interfaces What am I trying to do with Docker? I am attempting to get my docker containers to have the same setup as selecting the default bridge, but on a different IP on the 4 interface (ETH3) No matter what I setup, I can never get the docker network IP to translate to the IP address I want on the third interface. Please see the screenshot below: I need the lan IP to be 192.168.95.200 while the docker containers have an IP of 172.18.0.X. I have setup IPVLAN and MACVLAN but with these the docker containers have the same ip as the lan IP. Can someone point me in the right direction for getting this configured?
  3. Also wanted to add that if I disable all NICs except the first one, everything works as intended with NGINX proxing and routing the traffic.
  4. So I have a very odd situation with unraid that I am puzzled to know how to fix. I currently have NGINX on a pihole in front of my two unraid servers. Each server has 4 NICS on them. Also, I have each Unraid Server on the same vlan for accessing the management interface of unraid. Here is where my issue comes in: When I try to activate a separate NIC on another VLAN, I loose the ability to type the domain URL to access the Unraid management interface. If I type in the IP address, I can still get in. It only affects the full URL I type in the web browser when trying to log back in when accessing unraid. Has anyone ever ran across an issue like this? It is making 0 sense to me right now as to what is going on. Any help would be greatly appreciated because I have been trying to figure this out for hours now lol.
  5. Thank you for taking the time to read my post! I am very new to SAS, HBA, Raid etc. I just recently purchased a Dell PV MD1400 with 12 drives that I need to connect to my Dell R730. I am trying to figure out what type of card and cable I need for connecting my Dell R730 over to the new MD1400. I keep finding mixed answers to the question I have: Can someone please provide some suggestions on what type of SAS card I should buy, along with the type of cable I should get to connect these two utilizing my Unraid server? Thank you so much!
  6. Hey everyone, I finally took the plunge and decided to build out an Unraid server. I currently have 4 SAS drives ( 1 for parity and 3 in the array). I have an NVMe drive for my main cach drive, and I also added an M.2 drive that is connected via SATA. One thing to note, is that I have a M.2 to SATA enclosure I am using for the extra cache drive. I was able to get everything set up and working initially. However, I had to reboot the server last night, and the M.2/SATA drive is showing as unmountable now. I have all my drives encrypted, adding an extra layer of confusion to the equation for this. Has anyone ran into this issue with using M.2 SATA enclosures? Currently, the SATA enclosure houses 2 x M.2 drives. The drives are 2tb a piece and in unraid it shows as one 4tb drive. If anyone has any advice on how to get this drive mounted again, I would greatly appreciate it!
