  1. Wow, thank you. I'll find a different cooler!
  2. Some points to clarify. Primary storage is what I'll be using as my "cache". The RAID controller isn't needed for RAID, just need ports. Raid features will be disabled. Parity will be the 2 x WD Gold 22TB drives. The first 2 drives in the array will also be WD Gold 22TB drives.
  3. Hello All, Background: I've been running Windows servers for a while and my friend convinced me to go with Unraid. I'm in the process of redoing my network and thought I'd take the opportunity to also build my new Unraid server at the same time. I'm hoping that with an Acer Predator BiFrost Intel Arc A770 OC I can use Intel Quick Sync on the GPU to help with my Plex server. My budget is about $10K and I'm well under right now, so I'm happy. Use Cases: I plan to use this server to store a lot of media (movies, shows, and music), docker containers, and VMs. I will be using Plex to serve all of my media. Most importantly, I plan to have my pictures and important files on this server that then back up to GDrive and Backblaze in real-time or on a frequent basis/schedule. I have a ton of devices in my house that are on my network, so I need something reliable and most things are connected to an APC UPS. Help Required: I'm on this forum, because I need help with my setup and I welcome any and ALL feedback. My network is the following: Gateway: Ubiquiti UDM Pro Max (Currently using USG Pro, which I will replace) I'm replacing it because I think I will turn on IPS/IDS and the USG slows down too much as a result. Cloud Key: CloudKey+ Access Point: U7 Pro AP Switches: Some switches (I will need to purchase a new 10Gbit switch for this build) and I'll figure that out later. Unraid Server: CPU: AMD EPYC 7302P 3.0GHz 16-Core SP3 155W CPU Cooler: Noctua NH-U9 TR4-SP3 Motherboard: Supermicro H12SSL-i for AMD EPYC SP3 RAM: 2 x Kingston 32GB DDR4-3200 ECC RDIMM Primary Storage: 2 x WD Black 2TB SN850X NVMe PSU: Corsair 850W RM850e Gold Fully Modular Power Supply RAID Controller: Lenovo 430-16i (LSI MegaRAID 9400-16i) 12Gb/s SAS SATA NVMe Tri-Mode HBA PCIe Network Card: Mellanox ConnectX-3 CX312A Dual Port 10 Gigabit MCX312A-XCBT Additional Storage: 4 x WD 22TB Gold Enterprise HDD Hard Drive, SATA III w/ 512MB Cache Additional Storage: Random Drives I have Case: Fractal Design Define XL R2 Fans: Using my old fans GPU: Acer Predator BiFrost Intel Arc A770 OC For More details: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1Zx-LWONvUuMZOdhk01GlCk6A8M1molR3wxh8vhWhYQE/edit?usp=sharing *Edit - Forgot to list how many gold drives.
