Not sure how to explain it but it did. Disk 3 has no issues now. I rebooted in Safe mode and now disk 4 is re-building. I will update when done if no success. Thanks for the reply

I just updated to 7.2.4 and when I initially rebooted two of my disks, 3&4, were showing the error. I rebooted again and disk 3 is fine now, but disk 4 continues to have the issue. I am wondering if anyone sees anything in my diagnostics that helps. I am out of my depth. BTW, SMART test runs without issue on the disk as well. So I'm on my first NAS attempt and to say I am hitting issues is a major understatement. Long story short, I was on Unraid 6.12 and nothing went right for me. Got Gluetun, Deluge and Tailscale installed and it all went to hell when I tried to install Pihole. Ports were conflicting or something. Removed Pihole, but then my VPN was acting up, would not allow any traffic to deluge. I got frustrated and removed it all and updated to Unraid 7. At this point I only have Krusader and Tailscale installed. I want to install a VPN client, Torrenting client and the ARR suite. Would also like to incorporate a way to backup our phone's pics and vids (Apple and Android). Any advice on what programs would work best with Unraid 7 and what to do when I inevitably run into port issues. Thanks Any instructions on setting up said programs would be a much welcome bonus.

Much appreciated. I deleted all of my containers, updated from 7.0.0rc2 to 7.0.0 and am going to give it another go. I really shouldn't be all that complicated I thought. VPN, arr suite, Plex. Maybe backup for our phones and maybe some Home automations if I feel froggy. Not trying to host anything or any weird stuff. Thanks again

Sorry for the delay. I have been attempting to get all of this figured out. I ended up updating to Unraid7.rc2. Figured if I was going to fight my way through this anyway, might as well do it with most recent instructions. So I got the GluetunVPN installed and running with Tailscale. All is well there. Now I am trying to figure out how to get the plugins for Deluge to install. They just wont cooperate. I am going to try a bit longer, but if I cant get it to work I will try to use Qbittorent. I just want to follow one set of directions, but I'm not sure if that is possible. edit: so, I'm a moron. Didn't hit connect in Deluge at startup, so that's the reason the plugins wouldn't show up. I truly appreciate your help. Now on to the next headache

So I followed your instructions and it pulled it down, but wont let me start the vpn container. Not sure what I did wrong. Got the credentials and followed everything.

So I am already running into issues. I got GluetunVPN installed and was trying to test it with a Firefox container. When I try to make the changes to the firefox container it errors out. If I install with no changes it is good, but if I try to do the network to none and change the extra parameters it errors out. This is already in the field "--shm-size=1gb". Errors out if I try to add info after it or if I delete it and try to enter alone. Any thoughts?

Can anyone point me to instructions on how to setup a Gluetun Container using NordVPN with Tailscale as my "personal LAN". I am super new and this may be simple, but I cant seem to find instructions for the latest stable release. SpaceInvaderone has instructions for Unraid7, but I am way too unskilled as of yet to upgrade to a beta or rc version. What I am hoping to accomplish is having Gluetun as an exit node for all of my .arr dockers and pretty much all traffic from server. (still researching .arr plugins and how to set them up, just to let you know how new I am. If anyone has a list of those and instructions I would appreciate those as well). Wanted to integrate Tailscale for easy access to server as well as being able to only use one connection from Nord account to all devices connected on Tailscale network. Not sure if that makes any sense, but my brain wants to believe it is possible. Thanks in advance for any and all help.

Much appreciated. I will definitely try this out later. I have been doing some research and Gluetun in combination with Tailscale seem to be a good option as well but seem to be more geared for Unraid 7. Not sure if I want to go to a beta or rc version just yet. Im not good enough, lol

So I was finally able to get back to it and the instructions seem to be going ok. I have my array back, transferred license to new usb drive and am trying to figure out how I had my shares setup. I truly appreciate your help. I was so scared I was going to have to start all the way over. You guys rock!!!!

My original flash drive is dead. Tried to follow directions provided, but the /boot/config/disk.cfg file does not seem to exist with current Unraid

So I just built my first and only NAS and went with UNRAID 6.12.14. I spent a week and a half SMART testing drives, transferring Data, creating shares and finally did a parity check. I have 6 HDDs for storage, 1x12TB Parity drive and 5x 10TB storage pool. Have a couple NVMEs and 3 SSDs for Cache. Thought I pretty much had the array dialed in. I woke up today planning to create a backup for my flash boot drive and organize all the date from about 15 External drives I spent the week transferring. I about lost my mind when Unraid would not load. I removed the boot drive, Verbatim 16gb usb2.0 flash drive, to see that everything on it is totally corrupted. Only symbols show up. When it didn't boot and I realized the flash drive was corrupted I installed Unraid on another flash drive. I create a password and when I go to log in it acts like all is brand new wanting me to create array, shares, etc. I am sure it has to do with me not having a backup, but is there any way to save my array with no backup and the original boot drive gone. Needless to say I am freaking out because my DA didn't make the backup sooner. Can someone help me out. I know I can transfer my license, but I really don't want to start ALL the way over. I'm sure there is probably already a discussion for this, but I couldn't find anything. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
