    It would be convenient for users that are unaware of current issues with Intel 13th & 14th generation CPU's (Raptor Lake) for Unraid to display a critical notification when the microcode version (available in /proc/cpuinfo as hex) is less than 0x125 (the version that fixes the eTVB issue in i9 processors). For more information: https://community.intel.com/t5/Processors/Microcode-0x129-Update-for-Intel-Core-13th-and-14th-Gen-Desktop/m-p/1622129 This will mitigate stability issues (like below), and potentially permanent damage warranting an RMA:

    This is a new Unraid machine (brand new hardware) that started on 7.0.0 RC1 and is now on 7.0.0. I'm having intermittent availability issues and after enabling the syslog server, I can see the latest crash recorded a kernel panic. The time between these crashes can range from 12h to 48h. unraid-diagnostics-20250112-1319.zip crash.txt
