  1. Yes, thank you. I have edited to make that clear.
  2. That's fair! Sorry, I don't have those. I also don't need help because I just turned the option off and now it's fine but I thought maybe you'd want to know about it.
  3. I had "rebalance shares" enabled, updated to the latest version of the plugin, and it moved all my plugin files onto my cache. I disabled that option and it seems happy now. Or at the very least it's not shifting my system files around and breaking things. 🙂
  4. 11:00:02.972 ************************************************************ ANALYSING MOVING ACTIONS *********************************************************** 11:00:02.979 Deciding the action (move/sync/keep) for each file. There are 1066 files, it can take a while... 11:00:09.329 A total of 1610 files representing 49MiB will be moved/synced: 11:00:09.334 - 1610 files from unattended storage and representing 49MiB will then be rebalanced from unattended shares to primary and/or secondary 11:00:09.346 *********************************************************** LET THE MOVING SHOW BEGIN ! ********************************************************* I think the "rebalance shares" option is broken. I disabled that in the Mover Tuning settings and it no longer tries to move my plugins directory.
  5. It's absolutely the mover mover tuning. I've got it in dry-run mode right now and I'm seeing stuff like this: ==> Mover_tuning_2025-05-07T110001.log <== 11:01:39.445 Moving "./plugins/dynamix/./javascript/ace/mode-ejs.js" to /mnt/cache/ 11:01:39.497 Not deleting dir containing 198 files: ./plugins/dynamix/javascript/ace 11:01:39.503 -1007 files remaining from array to caches B 11:01:39.522 Moving "./plugins/dynamix/./javascript/ace/mode-elixir.js" to /mnt/cache/ 11:01:39.585 Not deleting dir containing 197 files: ./plugins/dynamix/javascript/ace 11:01:39.591 -1008 files remaining from array to caches B 11:01:39.610 Moving "./plugins/dynamix/./javascript/ace/mode-elm.js" to /mnt/cache/ 11:01:39.673 Not deleting dir containing 196 files: ./plugins/dynamix/javascript/ace 11:01:39.677 -1009 files remaining from array to caches B 11:01:39.697 Moving "./plugins/dynamix/./javascript/ace/mode-erlang.js" to /mnt/cache/ 11:01:39.801 Not deleting dir containing 195 files: ./plugins/dynamix/javascript/ace 11:01:39.813 -1010 files remaining from array to caches B
  6. The mover just ran and broke my system again. May 7 09:00:01 magicbox move: Starting Mover ... May 7 09:00:01 magicbox move: ionice -c 2 -n 0 nice -n 0 /usr/local/emhttp/plugins/ca.mover.tuning/age_mover start May 7 09:08:02 magicbox crond[1741]: exit status 255 from user root /usr/local/emhttp/plugins/dynamix/scripts/monitor &> /dev/null root@magicbox:/usr/local/emhttp/plugins/dynamix# diagnostics -bash: /usr/local/sbin/diagnostics: No such file or directory Two thoughts on this: Of course the mover broke my system. My system files are sitting on my cache disk. I run the mover tuning plugin and updated it yesterday. It's entirely possible it's all the mover's fault.
  7. Hi, This morning I attempted to log into my Unraid GUI and got this in my logs: ==> phplog <== [07-May-2025 05:39:50 UTC] PHP Fatal error: Failed opening required '/usr/local/emhttp/webGui/include/local_prepend.php' (include_path='.:/usr/local/emhttp') in Unknown on line 0 I went and looked into /usr/local/emhttp/webGui and the only folders I had in there were event and images. No include. I tried restarting the UI but it made no difference. I tried running diagnostics, then got "-bash: diagnostics: command not found". That's when I went for a reboot. Unraid comes back online, everything's working, the diagnostics command is back and I can get into the web UI. I navigate to the Shares page and... oh no. See the attached cache.txt file. Obviously there are my intentional shares there, but also a whole mess of Unraid system files including all of /usr/local/emhttp/plugins/dynamix and some others besides. I thought "okay that's a weird problem that happened before I rebooted" so I go to shift the files off. Immediately, the Web UI becomes unavailable again with the same error message I started with. So it looks like not only were these system files dumped on my cache disk, but also these are the system files currently in use. I'm leaving them there for now because obviously it gets mad if I touch them and all my backups happen at share level so theoretically they shouldn't cause a problem apart from the Shares page being a mess. I've got a recent backup of my flash drive from a couple of days ago so I could restore from that. Maybe then the same thing happens again though, I don't know. EDIT: I think the mover ran while I was cleaning the files and broke it again. I cleaned up my cache disk and I've disabled the mover and it's running fine right now. What do we think happened and what should I do about it? Thanks. cache.txt magicbox-diagnostics-20250507-0841.zip
  8. After bashing my head against this for like an hour: If running VirtioFS as a service works but not through the .exe (or WinFSP), check your account has permission to log on as a service. Easiest way to get it is to pop into services.msc, edit the propeties for the VirtioFS service, and set it to run as your account. Maybe this is mentioned somewhere else and I missed it.
