Recycle Bin (vfs recycle) for SMB Shares
Hello, I would like to move a folder from the Recycle Bin back to its original location. Which method would you recommend, option 1 or 2? 1. Move it via SMB Move the folder from: \\111.111.50.250\SMB Share\.Recycle.Bin to: \\111.111.50.250\SMB Share\ 2. Move it via the Unraid system Move the folder from: /mnt/disk11/.Recycle.Bin to: /mnt/disk11/

[Plugins] iSCSI GUI and ISCSI Target
Unfortunately, it's btrfs... I saw something called WinBtrfs on GitHub, but I don't want to take any risks. So, would this work? 1. Back up the data on the SSD. 2. Should I change the format of the SSD to something Windows can read (like NTFS or exFAT)? 3. Set the IMG size to be the same as the SSD capacity. 4. Mount it to Windows via iSCSI. 5. Move the backed-up files to the IMG from UNRAID/Windows? I'm a bit confused about steps 2, 3, and 5... Even after asking GPT, the answers seem to vary. Sorry for asking so many questions, but this is my first time using Unraid as a NAS.

[Plugins] iSCSI GUI and ISCSI Target
Hello, I'm trying to run games stored on an SSD installed in Unraid from Windows, but I'm encountering some minor issues. With SMB: The launch speed is too slow, and there are filename length limitations. With NFS: The launch speed is fast and there seem to be almost no filename limitations, but some game MODs don't work properly. My PC and NAS are directly connected via a 10G network card, and since the SSD is PCIe 5.0, I don't think it's a hardware issue. So, I'm considering using iSCSI. I'm wondering if it would work the way I’m thinking... The 2TB SSD installed in Unraid already has about 1.9TB of games on it. This SSD is not part of the array — it's assigned to cache2, and I'm not using it as a cache drive, just for storing games. (1) Is it possible to mount this SSD directly on Windows using iSCSI, without backup the data? (2) Or do I need to back up the data, allocate a 2TB .IMG file on the SSD, mount that image to Windows via iSCSI, and then move the files back to the iSCSI-mounted drive from Windows?

Extremely Slow Game Launch Speed on Unraid Storage
Hello, I am a newbie who has just started using NAS with Unraid. Unraid 7.0.0 2 x Mellanox Connectx-4 MCX4121a 10Gbe NIC (Also added 40mm Fan for Active cooling) Samsung 990Pro 2TB PCIe 4.0 SSD (The Pool device where the game is stored) The game folder is shared via SMB I am currently using Unraid 7.0.0 and accessing game folders via SMB to run old games. However, when the storage device is installed on the PC, the game launches immediately, But when running from a folder on Unraid, it takes a very long time for the game window to appear. I have connected my NAS and PC using a 10Gbe NIC, and the games are stored on a 990Pro PCIe 4.0 SSD. Since both the network and storage devices seem fine, I asked ChatGPT about the issue, and it suggested that the SMB protocol might be the cause. As alternatives, it recommended using an iSCSI plugin or switching to NFS. Which of these options would be the best? Or is there another, better solution I should consider? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Changing RAID1 Pool to Single After Removing a Disk
Oh, I forgot to mention the version—it's 7.0.0. If I had known about the diagnostics feature, I would have saved the logs beforehand, but I already solved the issue in a rather foolish way. Fortunately, I hadn't moved any files to the array yet, so I just backed up the pool, formatted it, and started over with a new config. For future reference, could you provide the manual procedure?

Changing RAID1 Pool to Single After Removing a Disk
Hello, I am a newbie to Unraid. Currently, my pool consists of two 4TB SSDs configured in RAID1. I wanted to remove one disk and keep only a single disk in the pool. I followed these steps: (1) Stopped the array (2) Removed one disk from the pool (3) Changed the allocation profile of the remaining disk to "Single" (4) Changed the slot count to 1 and started the array However, I keep seeing the following error message: "Cache pool BTRFS missing device(s) SSD 4096G (nvme1n1)" Additionally, the slot count reverted to 2, and the SIZE is displayed as 8TB instead of 4TB. How can I ensure that the remaining pool operates normally? Thank you.
