So I have set up my server now with a Supermicro board and a 12 core xeon. Running some dockers etc, I was thinking of buying a gpu for the transcoding on jellyfin. So I am wondering if you guys have any tips on gpus. I have been looking at a GTX 1660ti Intel Arc A380 Intel Arc B570 Intel Arc B580 I have set up with jellyfin so friends and family are using it to. So as much power for the money I can get is a plus. I was also thinking of the fan speeds once again. I have got it to work, I have been able to set fan speeds, via cmd on my windows machine. I have set them up so they go at 30 something %. But over the night they ramp up and go at full speed again. Does anyone have a clue why?

Hey So I have just moved my system to a Supermicro X10SRH-CLN4F with a 12 core cpu and it works great. Well I was angry yesterday, 3 of my 10tb harddrives did not show up in either unraid or bios. Had to tape over 3 pins on hdd My questions are I moved all on my cache drives to the array because I installed 2 new cache drives and now I have moved it back to the new cache drives. But I still have System and Appdata left on the disk1. Can I just remove those without a issue? Maybe I did something wrong when moving them back? The motherboard forces me in to bios on every boot. Does anyone have the same board and know how to fix it? Kinda annoying to have a monitor plugged in all the time just to go out of bios. The fans are spinning up and down sometimes, why does it do it and is there a fix for it?

So yesterday I accidentally pulled out the power cord to the server, when I booted up it did a parity check. Am I able to cancel that and use it as normal? I have built a new system that I am going to put the usb and the harddrives in. So could I do that and then let it do parity check in the new system?

Hello I have some questions about the supermicro X10SRH-CLN4F with unraid I am going in the near future upgrade to the X10SRH-CLN4F with a xeon e5-2650 v4 12 core, 64gb ecc 2666mhz Have anyone used this board before? Is it any good with unraid? Will it hold todays standard okey? Or is it slow? Any problems with the pcie bifurcation setting? I will use 2 m.2s Can I use a gpu in 1 of the 8x pcie slots? I will put this in a jonsbo n5 chassi whenever they are available
