Just encountered this identical problem trying to format and mount a new exFAT drive on 7.2.2. If this is a known problem, any idea when might be cured? I would prefer APFS, but at least need exFAT for portability to macOS. Any other workarounds?

I apologize in advance if this isn't the correct place to ask this. A newbie, with Unraid running for a month or so without problems, at last without problems I couldn't solve by reading existing forum topics. I have Zoneminder up and running, connected to cameras with motion recording going well. However I cannot seem to get ZM to put the recordings in my storage path. I have the ZM template /config path set to: /mnt/cache-nvme/appdata/Zoneminder which is on a dual name cache pool. This seems to be where everything including the events and recordings are being stored. I have the template /var/user/zoneminder set to: /mnt/disks/3TB_External_USZ/Zoneminder and nothing is ever created or stored here. The folder exists and the disk is mounted and I can write to it from my Mac with no issues. I've searched for the forums and web for several hours trying to figure this out, but I'm giving up and asking if anyone can point me in the right direction. Many thanks, PJ
