  1. Hello all, Relatively new to Unraid (sub-6 months) but loving it so far. So much so that I took advantage of recent Prime Day sales to add some additional hardware to run a second Unraid server (both running 7.1.4). The idea is to keep my existing server as the media server, and set up the second as my dedicated NAS/personal cloud. I’ve looked into how to do it, but would like advice from the community on best practices, especially from anyone who has undertaken the same previously, as much online content doesn’t seem to quite fit the bill and I’m always dubious about ChatGPT-ing a migration workflow. I know there’s an element of security in that as long as I don’t delete any data or containers from the first server then there’s no real risk involved as such, but I’m time poor and would like the most seamless and straightforward way possible to have things up and running on the new server. I did consider just migrating the full server then deleting what I don’t need, but I assume this is woefully inefficient due to the huge media data transfer but want to avoid any potential issues between the two Unraid licenses. The containers I would like to migrate are ownCloud (with Only Office Document Server) and Immich (alongside Redis and Space Invader One’s PostgreSQL_Immich docker image). To compound things possibly, both of these are currently attached to a Cloudflare tunnel from my personal domain. I have a general overview of what I’ll need to do, but would love to hear from those in the know. Thanks all.
  2. Thanks @trurl, recreating the docker image indeed fixed it. Reinstalled the Plex docker and all is well again. Thank you again for your help.
  3. Thank you, I’ll explore these options. Sorry I wasn’t clear previously - rather than expecting to reinstall Docker I was hoping to access my list of installed apps (which would need Docker enabled) as I was wanting to delete the Plex Media Server container (as I feel that this is where the issue causing the hang is) and then reinstall a fresh Plex docker container. As per the links above I’ll try recreating the Docker image file first if that’s the recommendation.
  4. Apologies, diagnostics below are after the array has started but still has Docker disabled (if I enable Docker the hang means I’m unable to access other tabs in the web GUI so can’t access Tools > Diagnostics). Thank you. pearsonplex-diagnostics-20250330-2026.zip
  5. Hi everyone, new Unraid user here who’s not as technical as he thinks he is… I’ve got myself into a catch-22 situation with my first Unraid server. I had the Plex docker image installed and working, and at some point I must have changed something that now causes the server to hang with the “Services starting” message at the bottom of the screen and unable to access the Docker tab. When I reboot the server it starts fine, including starting the array as long as Docker is disabled. As soon as I enable Docker and apply it then it once again hangs while starting. The Fix Common Plug-ins highlighted an issue with Plex-Media-Server which I adjusted but to no avail. I feel the issue is in Docker settings but without being able to start Docker I’m unable to adjust them, or delete/reinstall an fresh image. Diagnostics attached and advice gladly sought! pearsonplex-diagnostics-20250330-1931.zip
