Coming from Synology and trying to get my head around Trash-Guide share structure but with more subfolders
After suspending my Synology and playing around with Unraid for quite some time now, I finally want to rearrange the folder structure to make use of *arr apps, automated moves and hardlinks. In the past I used to have different shares for each file type (allowing granular permissions) and subfolders in them for further differentiation, looking something like this: Books Cooking Fiction Non-Fiction Reference Travel Data Backups Documents Software Movies Animation Foreign Local Own Projects Sports Music Audiobooks Classic Electronic Freestyle Hip-Hop Jazz Pop Soundtracks Maybe I am overthinking it, but I struggle to get this worked out referring to the Trash-Guides. Since, correct me if I am wrong, a structure like the following would prevent automated downloads and moves: Library Torrents Adult Books Cooking Fiction Non-Fiction Reference Travel Movies Animation Foreign Local Own Projects Sports Music Audiobooks Classic Electronic Freestyle Hip-Hop Jazz Pop Soundtracks TV Usenet Incomplete Complete Adult Books ... Movies ... Music ... TV Media Adult Books ... Movies ... Music ... TV Private Backups Documents Photos Software Is there a way to achieve a folder structure with subfolder for books types, movie categories and music genres, or is my thinking just outdated and a better solution is available? Many thanks upfront!

PWM Fans This might be a stupid question, but how do I deactivate the cronjob? Even uninstalling the plug-in will keep the fans running at the prior setup values.

Hey Jorge, since the installation of rc4 the Wi-Fi tab is visible under Network Settings. Thanks again for your support.

Reverted to old Dynamix Plugin and had the same behavior, changed to your PWM Fan again, fiddled with some fan settings in BIOS, and it seems to work smoothly since two days now.

Hey Jorge, once again: thanks for your efforts. Like you assumed, driver -2 will not be loaded automatically. Unfortunately, copying and running it manually didn't do the trick either. Please find the diags attached. server-diagnostics-20250422-1203 copy of -2 driver.zip

- It is still enabled for OS, command gave back 1 (even when HDDs spun up and fan did not) - echo 255 (or any other value) didn't do anything - fan is Noctua, never gave an issue before - reverted to old Dynamix plugin to double-check behavior, for now (will report back regarding fan spindown assumption) No worries, good luck, and thanks for replying anyway!

Alright, got you. Well, I have to wait for LT then, since it kind of destroys my idea to put the server in a place without LAN, when I need to activate Wi-Fi after a reboot. Many thanks for your help, though. Much appreciate your time and effort - I hope it'll be helpful for others too.

Yesses, connected to my AP. But it looks like the driver-swap is not surviving a reboot. Sure, I got it from here (it's the rtw8852c_fw.bin) https://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/firmware/linux-firmware.git/tree/rtw89

@PWM Fans On my system, the fan does not reliable start when HDDs awake from sleep. It doesn't happen every time, but often enough to write this message. For context: - on my main board, the fans need to be turned off manually in BIOS for Unraid plugins to take control (did already apply for Unmanic plugin, I used before, too) - cron job is working, plugin shows it's started and fan is running - restarted Unraid yesterday, HDDs went to sleep, woke up first time, fan started running, HDDs went to sleep again, woke up second time today, fan didn't start. Noticed rising temperature, checked cron (still running), reinstalled plugin, tried "echo > 1 /fanxyz_enable" nothing happened. Restarted Unraid: fan is running again. Any ideas?

Thanks, Jorge, for looking into it. If I am not mistaken the adapter should be supported by the kernel, so yes, it might be a Linux issue. Sorry for my dumb question: what's the LT?
