  1. Hi all, First post on this forum, discovering Unraid, switching away from QTS. Since the information on this point is not always crystal clear on the internet I just wanted to share that I have been able to boost my QNAP TS-869Pro from 1GB original module to 2x new 2GB modules = 4GB, all well recognized by Unraid. When installing the modules just be careful to push them down enough to make sure they settle ok into the connectors, there is a risk that it looks like they are settled but are in fact not. After the update it's like night and day on the behavior of the TS-869Pro under Unraid. With 1GB the system was allowing itself to use only around 500-600MB and as soon as an rsync was launched I was not able to use the GUI anymore and even ssh commands were very sluggish. With 4GB the system uses c. 850MB and the GUI is smooth. I also have a QNAP TS-859Pro+ that I'll try to switch to Unraid and upgrade as well to 4GB, I'll keep you posted. Alex
