  1. Okay, that was fun, had to go back to my USB boot then delete the boot array and start over again... Now I have to delete a bunch of docker containers that the settings got "lost" during a power outage that took out one of my old USB sticks that I used to boot off of...eventually, because right now while they work fine, they refuse to update versions.
  2. I was just getting no video, I disconnected power to the video card and booted into bios, fixed that issue and then went on to try to move the boot from USB to two 4TB NVMe drives, so now I'm getting a completely different error. error: fs/zfs/zfs.cc:mzap_lookup:2159:file 'bzimage' not found. error: loader/i386/linux.c:grub_cmd_initrd:1002:you need to load the kernel first. Press any key to continue...
  3. I'm still booting from USB, just installed 4 additional NVMe drives and an RTX 5060 Ti and then racked the server, attached mouse/keyboard/monitor and now I get no display out, it used to display out via Motherboard, it doesn't do that now and I've also swapped to the video card and it won't output from there either. Anyone else run into this?
  4. Since I had the USB out, I grabbed a different one, loaded it up with the latest Unraid as DHCP this time and it gave the option to do an Unraid GUI boot (which I don't remember as an option on the previously configured USB). Testing things out now... and hoooly crap it's working! So excited! I wish I knew what the failure was, if it was on my part or what, I just copied the same settings I as on my PC (other than the IP of course, chose a free one, also PC is on the same network, connected physically to the same satellite on my mesh network but the Unraid box is going through an unmanaged switch so I could get a 2.5 gig connection to the previous unraid box as that's the best network they both have).
  5. Alright, woke up early and felt industrious so ripped apart my case a bit and managed to snag the USB header adapter out completely, here's the log file! rack-diagnostics-20250516-1630.zip
  6. I just saw the time...I'll be back tomorrow, apologies for having to go so soon after posting, I'll be on around 6A-10A CST tomorrow in search of an answer and try pulling that drive then most likely then Sunday I have to hit the hay and won't be on til probably 6PM CST
  7. Okay, ran diagnostic, didn't see much of anything besides as you said, the creation of a zip file in the logs folder. Guessing I do need to unrack/pull the usb to at least upload that file here huh?
  8. Okay so I just got a new network switch and built a new unraid server, my old one is still working okay but I need to move the data over, sooner the better IMO. The problem I have is that even though I pre-set an IP/name for this server, it doesn't seem to be showing up on the network, I have local console access but don't know the commands to really do much of anything, anyone able to walk me through this or do I have to unrack this server, pull the USB, make a new one and try again? Dang thing is super heavy and not on rails, JMCD-124S, fully loaded with 12 3.5" using an internal USB header (I guess like an idiot?) for boot. During the bootup scroll (had a monitor attached) it looked to show Eth0 not connected even though I know for a fact it is, never done a fresh install before though as my last unit came with it pre-installed (Lincstation N1) so any help is very much appreciated!
