  1. Finding a driver for a generic USB-to-HDMI/DP adapter on Unraid can be difficult because Unraid is a stripped-down Linux operating system. The necessary DisplayLink drivers are not included by default and can be tricky to install without a graphical interface. Can these drivers be optionally added from the UI, so that, at next boot, the DisplayLink drivers are included (and persist)? The correct driver is of course relevant to the specific adapter's chipset, but I'm willing to bet a bunch of us wouldn't mind support for the most common, and those could be ones that are officially supported. The rationale being that many people are either using repurposed hardware, or squashing as much as they can into the smallest case they can get away with, only to find that they didn't leave any room for a GPU, and their repurposed CPU doesn't have graphics (me, basically!) I found enough comments on Reddit to warrant a feature request - I guess you'll decide if that's ever going to be a thing 😉
  2. I know this is old, but it's not been answered and I came across it anyway, so anyone else (or even maybe still OP) looking for answers, this isn't how that bit works in that the mover will move the files, not back them up; for that, you'll need a different mechanism. Unraid Mover The Unraid Mover is a scheduled process that moves files from the cache drive(s) to the main array to free up cache space, preventing transfers from failing when the cache fills up . It runs on a user-defined schedule (or can be triggered manually), transferring files based on share settings, and maintains the folder structure but does not organize content. To ensure all data moves correctly, especially for Docker and VM shares, services should be disabled during the process. To add to this, it looks to me, from your final screenshot, that you're asking Unraid to store the files in the cache, and then later asking the mover to move the files from the array, to the cache. I would expect this not to work since the files will already be on the cache. I hope this is helpful in some way, to somebody, at some point in time! 👍🏻
