  1. Hi everyone, I’ve been running Unraid since last year (in my living room, since it’s not easy to run network cables there). The whole setup is currently running on a Dell laptop with an i5 processor, 16 GB of RAM, and a 1 TB SSD (used as cache). I have a USB 3.2 hub connected with 5x 4 TB 2.5-inch USB 3.1 HDDs (1 parity drive + 4 drives in an array). So far, so good, and everything is running smoothly. However, I’m thinking about making the hardware a bit more “reliable.” Key requirements would be: - QUIET! (It needs to keep running in the living room) - Energy-efficient! - Expandable - It should be able to run a few Docker containers. - Small UPS if necessary. - Transcoding in Jellyfin should work smoothly - Be AFFORDABLE! I don’t want to spend 1,000 euros or more right now. Do you have any suggestions for what such a setup might look like? AND how do I go about migrating to new hardware? Especially if the HDDs need to be replaced as well?
  2. Hi everyone, I have the following problem: I replaced my cache SSD. To do this, I first transferred all data from the SSD to the array using Mover, and after replacing the disk, I reversed the Mover and wrote everything back. Now I've noticed that one of my array disks and the parity disk are no longer going into spindown. When checking the array disk, I saw that there are still parts of the system directory there and, logically, they are constantly being used (individual items in /usr/system/docker/docker/) and the disk (and thus also the parity) cannot rest. Is there a solution for me to clean this up properly? Tibbs
  3. Hi everyone (uhh, my first post here :) ), I hope you can help me with the following problem. I'm currently replacing various RPis with Unraid. Most of it is already up and running and is worlds better than before. :) Until now, I've been using an RPi for PiHole and Wireguard, among other things. So far, it's been working well. And when I was on the go and Wireguard was active, every single device connected to the network was visible as a client in Pihole. Now I've moved Pihole and am running it on the Unraid machine in Docker. (Wireguard is currently still running on the RPi, but will also be moved soon). Now I only have ONE entry for ALL devices in the list. Namely, the RPi. How can I get the devices to be listed individually in PiHole even when connected via WG? Tibbs
