How to confirm drive location for share data
So I’m in the process of transferring data from my windows machine to a new Unraid build. I’m a complete noob. I have no parity drive yet. I started out with my transferring going cache/pool. Then figured out when transferring from unassigned drives the cache was extra step and changed moving data to just pol. Now I think I have my files on my pool drives and yet the same files show on my cache. I believe I did multiple transfers so the cache files might be a holdover prior to changing cache/pool on my cache. How can I confirm that I have for sure the files in my pool and the same files in my cache drive is redundant and can be deleted…?! And not part of spanning both pool and cache…??

“Compute all” going on 36+ hours
I have a very fast server I recently built. I’m a noob. I deleted a few shares and most were empty. However one had 100GB with most of the data on my cache that I deleted before reading that I needed to delete the data first. I then went to move some files and got a full message. I then hit the compute all and it’s still doing its thing 36 plus hours later. I have most of my 100TB array full. So it’s a lot of data. What’s a realistic time (no progress bar so it could finish as I’m writing or next week or never). Do I just wait it out, or do a force reboot or…???

Best mobo and cpu options
Before you get too far, price out RAM if you don't buy it right away, budget and plan on it going up another 25% plus sooner than we all would like. It's increasing faster than the stock market and gold prices combined. Not sure what your use case is, but being that your screen grab shows Sonarr Intel is the preferred option if you plan on running Plex on that box due to the integrated Quick Synch graphics chip available on many of their chips. Again use case makes a difference but DDR4 is a pretty good option and plenty fast, especially when you factor in the current price of RAM.

Overwhelmed and need help on a CPU / Motherboard upgrade
I'm halfway through in purchasing the parts to do a similar build with the 24 bay 846 Supermicro box. I'm stepping all the way up and going with LGA 1851 Arrow Lake Core Ultra 7 265k.(oddly enough the newer chips are cheaper than the problem-prone previous generation) What I found is there are very few boards as in the 880 boards are designed for server use with IPMI and such. I went with the Asrock W880D4u for a motherboard. I also considered the Asrock W880D4ID-2Q which has dual 25GbE ports and the Asus Pro WS W880-Ace WS which appears to offer a lot of ports and might be a better board but the cost and lack of availability held me back. Also Supermicro has the X14 board but rumor has it Supermicro is getting out of selling one board at a time. I'm mostly building for an overkill Plex box and will be using Unraid. I want to be somewhat future proof and to learn and add a lot more as I go.

Ultimate Home Server Build Plan Review
I love this write up as I’m looking for very similar. It’s hard to find a thread like this without it being taken into the mud with Raspberry Pi and classic refurb users saying you are an idiot this is overkill. I also loved how the OP showed the work with what was considered and reconsidered. As I’m doing similar I just wanted to note as of writing the difference between the OP’s i5 and an i7 is just fifteen bucks.
