  1. To add my voice to the cacophony, I too am experiencing the 'cannot connect to engine' error message on the splash screen.

    Testing the update right now.

Have you been able to find 4.4.0 for download?

just tried replacing 4.3 with 4.4 and this works

    https://download.code42.com/installs/linux/install/CrashPlan/CrashPlan_4.4.0_Linux.tgz

Where Do I put this file? Since it's a docker I'm not sure what to do wth it.

  2. I'm getting the following errors when mover runs: My Main Question is, what is the difference between /mnt/user and /mnt/user0 the two directorys seem identical but it has always confused me as to why there are two. appdata is a share I setup as a cache only share and have my docker setup into. these erros dont seem to be causing any problems other then clogging up my logfile.

    /usr/bin/tail -n 42 -f /var/log/syslog 2>&1

  3. Anyone else have the issue on 5.0 final and new Webgui where the mover schedule won't save? default is monthly, I set it to daily and hit apply it changes but when I got back later, OR just hit apply a second time, it changes back to monthly.  I looked through the recent post and didn't see anything about it.

  4. I'm noticing that I can connect to my server by its hostname ("tower.local") when the server is started, but after "a while" (usually no longer than 30 minutes) the hostname is no longer resolvable. I can still connect by IP.

Has anyone else seen this behaviour?

I'd like to continue to used DHCP for IP assignment and not resort to hacking my hosts file. This should be something that works without resorting to those kind shenanigans :)

This is my first unRAID build. I'm running 5.0 rc-16.

Pretty typical here.. happens daily. I've just accepted it.

  5. Have you tried to shell in and check /mnt/user instead of /mnt/user0?  Also check the permissions rwx's and also the ownership nobody:users.  If you start plex as nobody user and your files are root root owners and not rwxrwxrwx (777) then Plex won't see them.

thats just it, Plex see's them, I cannot through a shell... and I did check /mnt/user0 also. I cant see them there either. I Can watch the show's via Plex but cannot find them on the server at all. I even checked each individual disk and the cache disk.

Maybe they are inside a folder and you don't know it?  Try this:  ls -alR | grep example.file

Make sure you replace example.file with the filename (this will show you all files including hidden files that start with a dot and recursive/subfolders)

You Nailed it on the head, I found them in a sub directory of another show. I was just coming online to update the topic.

  6. Have you tried to shell in and check /mnt/user instead of /mnt/user0?  Also check the permissions rwx's and also the ownership nobody:users.  If you start plex as nobody user and your files are root root owners and not rwxrwxrwx (777) then Plex won't see them.

  7. So I'm running the latest RC16-c, and the current plex server, here's whats confusing me.. I have a Share setup for TV Shows and plex pointed at that directory. In plex I can go into Graceland TV show and watch the entire season 1 but when I go to the Tower server and into that directory, none of the shows are there other then the one I added today. I don't understand where plex is seeing these shows are or why I cant see them via SMB or if I telnet in. they don't exist but yet I can watch them. Hoping someone can spread some light on this.

is apcupsd installed? seedrs' plugin or just the package from unmenu/manual?

    is simple features installed?

it's installed through unmenu. and as of 1.2 I only get these now,,

  9. sacretagent & Bitz69 can you test the attached version.

i expect just serviio and sickbeard errors if not installed.

if so i ll update the file at the first post after deciding how to handle these 2 plgs exceptions.

  10. I removed the new WEBGUI and still got the same errors. I'm running RC16C. Couchpotatoe, sab, btsync, cachedirs, sickbard and plex addons if that helps troubleshoot any.

i guess it is about the plugins that is not installed. it cant find the config and page files of these plugins.

i try to simulate your situation but cant get these errorrs. Where did you get these errors?

when I click on the icon in the settings page...

  11.

I've refrained from engaging in the release firefight until now but my patience has worn thin. I LOVE unRAID and it's community, but please listen to them Tom. Not just me, but the many dozens of other fellow users that just want an end the RC saga.

  12. Thanks for good comments.

Doesn't seem to play well with the new WebGUI.

i didn't install the new WebGui yet. So i didn't test with it :(

But logs seems strange... if this is the case all plugins have to gave the same error.

did you try before upgrading the webgui?
