Paperless ngx not connecting to Apache Tika
Unraid 7.2.4 Apache/tika:latest ghcr.io/paperless-ngx/paperless-ngx gotenberg/gotenberg postgres:16 bitnamisecure/redis:latest Hello I followed spaceinvader video to install Paperless and it works fine with PDFs. The problem starts when I try to upload a Word file which requires Tika for parsing. Paperless returns this error: worddocument.docx: Error occurred while consuming document worddocument.docx: Could not parse /tmp/paperless/paperless-ngxihibf9dw/worddocument.docx with tika server at http://localhost:9998: [Errno 111] Connection refused It suggests a connection issue with the Tika container but I checked at CLI and its seems to be connected: docker exec -it paperless-ngx curl http://Apache-Tika-Server:9998/tika This is Tika Server (Apache Tika 3.2.3). Please PUT After some investigation it looks like the localhost address is an issue even so I configured the container parameter to proper IP address, I actually tried every possible configuration of addresses and it just keeps returning localhost. I also created a custom network after I tried the Bridge network that spaceinvader has setup. The annoying bit is that I followed his instructions step by step religiously and his setup works and mine doesn't. Any help would be greatly appreciated thanks. tower-diagnostics-20260314-1406.zip

Docker service failed to start
I tried all the solutions that I found online, nothing worked. Doing my head in. New user to unraid, followed ibracorp heroes youtube to the letter and everything is fine until I hit the wall of 19 hours to finish parity. Cant follow Ibra until it finishes this job. But im just messing around with old drives before I commit to a proper DAS with shiny new drives. So what do I do? I stopped the whole thing and used new config in settings to start a new array without parity. Great! But Docker service doesn’t start now. Ive spent hours and cant fix it. The issue Reconfigured the array, now get the message 'Docker service failed to start' What caused the issue: initial configuration external 3tb hdd for parity^ external 1tb hdd for the array internal 4tb ssd for cache. After New Config No parity 1tb hdd for the array 512gb internal ssd for cache What fixes have I tried so far: Backed up and reflashed the Usb Deleted Docker.img and restarted the service in Settings Gave belly rubs to the dog Nothing works. All I want at this point is to restart from fresh but how do I do that? It seems that old data is still in the disks and in the usb. I formatted the external disks but cant do that with ssds, lots of other data in there. If i reformat the usb key... i lose my key... Thanks for any help
