    i dont think it would have helped in this case, it wasnt deleted through SMB but unraid itself, it was a dumb mistake doing some folder copying and i selected the "overwrite existing files" option thinking it would just replace any files with the same name with the new copy, not delete all the files in the folder.

    some kind of undelete!!!! i was trying to sort some duplicate files and somehow managed to delete the entire directory 10tb gone.. im now going through a recovery process, but i cant believe unraid doesn't have some kind of undelete!!!
