Actually it is very fair that Unraid releases security updates for 7.2 instead of forcing people with expired licenses to resubscribe.

Recieved an Update today (at least for me)

I started my Unraid journey 4 weeks ago, today changed the licensing to TPM, switched to boot from NVME with a 64 GB partition (you never know) - works absolutly flawless!!! I am totally confinced that Unraid was the right decision.

a easier way to buy in the EU would indeed be great

unraid: 7.2.4 Hi everyone, I use unassigned devices to add a external usb-hdd for offsite backup reasons, which is formated via the unraid/unassigned devices gui to work as zfs encrypted. The reason for zfs is that the main purpose of the usb disk is to get backups in form of zfs snapshots from a "native" sata pool in the unraid server. In general the whole formating disk, inserting the password in the unassigned devices settings and even upgrading of the pool (otherweise zfs send drops an error) works flawless. But as soon as I start the zfs send, the unassigned device in the zfs gui shows the mount option, even while it is already in use and shows zfs instead of lurks. From this moment on, clean disconnect of the zfs disk requires cli use of zfs export and lurks "closing" of the disk. After this the gui state is consistent again. Now I am just wondering if the reason for this issue sits on the computer or if this is a kind of knowen behaviour. Thanks in advance for any feedback.

Hi guys, thank you for the swift reply. Because my first installation included a lot of try and error I decided to purge the stick and make a clean new start, because I used the old stick it was simply able to fetch the license, so the issue "solved" itself. @Veah Thats interesting also for binding the license to tpm. My hardware (ugreen dxp2800) is tpm capable so maybe I skip the license migration to the stick and wait for this to be become stable release. Again, thank you for the input.

Hi everyone, is this still a thing? Iam a unraid newbie and my first choice for the USB Stick was not smart. Now I will get a new stick I would like to use in the next days and while I strayed a bit in the config backup I noticed that it includes a starter.key and the older trial.key. Could this cause problems. Thank you in advance?
