  2. Hey everyone, Like many of you, I host terabytes of media on my Unraid server. But when it comes to streaming massive ZIP/RAR manga archives or high-res videos directly via SMB to an Android tablet or Fire TV stick, the existing apps are frankly disappointing. We have nothing like iOS's ComicShare. So, I decided to build it myself: Nas Player Pro. Instead of relying on a middleman server to extract archives, it streams heavy ZIP/RAR files directly from your Unraid shares. I didn't want to compromise on the UX, so I built custom UI logic specifically for proper reading. For example, for traditional Japanese manga, the seekbar logic is completely reversed—starting empty at the bottom right (page 1) and filling up towards the bottom left (end of volume). It also doubles as a robust media player (similar to nPlayer), with strictly defined playback controls (lateral buttons exclusively for seeking, standard forward/back for skipping tracks) so you never accidentally lose your place. Why only SMB right now? Some of you might ask: "Where is WebDAV or FTP?" Here is the truth: I know what it means to protect a massive personal data hoard. Security and privacy are my absolute top priorities. I intentionally restricted the initial release to local SMB only to guarantee zero risk of external data leaks while I perfect the local streaming core. Expanding to WebDAV and FTP is definitely on the roadmap once I secure enough funding from this initial release. I’m a solo indie dev with zero marketing budget. Reddit's automated system inexplicably restricted my account when I tried to share this with the data hoarding community there, so I'm bringing it straight to the people who actually understand the need for it. It's a paid app. Consider it an investment into building the ultimate local streaming client for our ecosystem. If you have a Fire TV or Android tablet, I’d be honored if you tried it and gave me your most brutal, honest feedback.
