  1. Everything was working great, but then sonarr stopped working and it wouldn't restart so I tried to save on the edit settings menu so it would just reinstall itself and this is what I'm getting: IMAGE ID [fa9981cf81f1]: Download complete. IMAGE ID [6886e0428439]: Pulling metadata. Pulling fs layer. Error downloading dependent layers. Is there anything I can do or am I screwed? Edit: actually I'm getting that error from all the other containers as well, but they still keep working. Weird.
  2. Yes I did do that and after a few boot errors, the array now boots normally and after rebuilding again, everything is green. I was also able to upgrade to 5.0.5. Thanks.
  3. Looking at the logs it seems the array can't write to my flash drive. Is there anyway to save the current array configuration from memory or will I have to yet again rebuild the drive? At least I think I've zero in on the issue, so that's something I guess.
  4. So i rebuilt it again and the array is up. Everything green. The reinstated disk shows thousands of writes and no errors. I can read its contents fine and I copied a file to it. It took awhile to get started, but it copied fine in the end. It was slow though. Anyhow, I'd like to know how to proceed now because I've already rebuilt the disk 3 times and I need a permanent solution. I need to add more disks to the array soon, so I need to be able to stop it. Again, any help would be appreciated.
  5. Hi, I had a drive give me a red status due to a loose wire. I fixed it, disabled the drive, then added it again to the array and rebuilt it. Then I ran a parity check and everything went OK. The rebuilt took about 8 hours and the parity check about 10. So now after all that time, the array was working fine, but when I stopped it to shut it down (and do an upgrade), the rebuilt drive appears with a blue label again and it's asking me to do the rebuild process again. Is there anything i'm missing here. Do I have to go through that whole process again. I really don't get it. I'm using 5.0 beta 14, but since I needed to fix this issue before upgrading and now I'm stuck. Any help would be appreciated.
  6. Hi, I've been using unraid for years now, I'm on 5.0 beta14 and haven't changed anything in a long time. A few days ago, videos played from the server started stopping and starting, essentially becoming useless. I checked copying files from the server to a drive on my network, wired through gigabit internet and I'm getting around 1MB/sec and less, which is crazy slow. I was getting around 70-80 MB before. I still get those speeds copying stuff TO the server, but not the other way around. I really have no idea what the issue could be. I tried copying the log to a text file and posting it here, but it says it's too big. I'd really appreciate some help in posting the log or solving this issue. Thanks.
  7. I don't think that's my problem. I can get to the web GUI just fine, also the shares are working without problem on PLEX (media center). It just won't show up on finder right now, which is really annoying.
  8. That is what resolved your issues. Bet the network group for your notebook and mac are both Home. So now is all in the same workgroup I don't think so. I had done that before the speed issue went away, I literally did nothing to fix it. Now after I had to reboot the Mac the server didn't appear on the shared tab anymore. I didn't have a lot of time to look into it, but it appeared fine on the Windows notebook (and the notebook appeared on the mac since I had previously set up some shared folders). I don't know that name of the workgroup the Mac is in, so I'll look into that when I get home. Hopefully the speed thing doesn't come back.
  9. But if I do that, isn't it the same as it being unplugged? Or would the system recognize it later?
  10. To be honest I have no idea what I did, I wasn't seeing the server neither in my Windows notebook nor my Mac (even though I could see the web utility) I just changed the name of the network in unraid to Home and could see it in my notebook. After a while it also appeared on my Mac. And then the speed issue also went away on it's own, so I'm pretty pleased right now with how it's working.
  11. I don't think that's it. I tried disconnecting the drives and hooking them up to the MB directly, while leaving the card in place and it didn't boot up. It was only after I removed it completely that it finally worked. It's weird. The card boots up and then says something like press [something] to enter BIOS or [space] to continue. After that the screen goes blank and the system doesn't boot from USB no matter what I do. For the moment I'm running just 3 2TB HDDs and using the free version, but once those get filled I'm gonna want to put more drives in and I'm gonna need to get the card working.
  12. I finally got everything to work (and had to look around for a while before I found the trick to getting //tower to show up in a Mac), let's just say I'm not overly impressed with the documentation and user friendliness of unraid yet. Thankfully the community is awesome, so here's my problem now: I'm getting ridiculous unusable speeds. 30 min to copy a 1.6 GB file. That's slower than downloading it again! I haven't enabled a parity disk yet so it'll go faster (I dread to think when it has to calculate parity). Needless to say, even if I leave it overnight it's gonna take several days to copy all my stuff, maybe even weeks. Am I doing something wrong? I looked over at the tips, but didn't find anything I could use. Edit: I don't know what happened, I changed nothing, but now it's going at a decent speed. it says 2 hours for 90 GB, which seems very reasonable. I just did in 2 min what took me 30 mins just a little while ago. I have no idea what's going on, but I'm happy at the moment.
  13. I bought this card because it was in the hardware compatibility guide as recommended budget set up, but when it's plugged to my MB (ECS AMD690GM-2) the USB won't boot up even though it works fine without it and the card itself seems to be working fine (it recognizes the HDDs attached). Any tips on how to fix this? I kinda need to use the card.
  14. The USB appears in Removable Device. It's the only available choice in that category. I have removable device set as first boot, but nothing happens. I'm about ready to give up on this and try some of the other RAID options out there (none seems to fit my needs as well as unraid, but I guess they're better than nothing). It's really a shame I can't get this to work with this MB, but getting a new compatible one would make this totally not cost efficient. Edit: I got it to boot!!! I removed the Supermicro Add-on Card AOC-SASLP-MV8 thinking it may have something to do with that and it boot up just fine. Now my problem is that I kinda need the card to hoop up my drives, but I'll look into that now.
  15. The MB is the ECS AMD690GM-M2 like I mentioned in the topic name. Here's a link to the manual: http://download.ecsusa.com/dlfileecs/manual/mb/eng/K8/AMD690GM-M2/AMD690GM_M2%20%281_0B%29.pdf I think I have the latest bio, but it's from 07 I think. Thanks for all the help. I hope I can get this working soon.
  16. But that's just the thing. I can't find any option to emulate anything. Maybe they're labelled different or they're just not supported in my motherboard.
  17. Thanks for the responses. I can't find anything that resembles USB configuration to set up HDD emulation. Maybe that's my problem. Any work arounds if my MB doesn't support that sort of emulation?
  18. I've tried everything I can think of. I even tried making a boot CD from the wiki instructions, but it didn't work either. The MB has the option to boot from USB and it is seeing the stick, but it just won't boot. It's as if it wasn't plugged in. Anyone else with this motherboard? I could really use some pointers. Thanks.
