  1. Try changing the GUI theme to a different one, if it helps try then changing back.
  2. Unassign means stop the array, click the device and set to none. There's no mover involved in this, you'll known when it's done when you can stop the array, you can also monitor the pool activity.
  3. Deleting those files will delete all the users, technically you only need to delete one, but not sure which one stores the users, I believe it's config/passwd if you want to try just that one.
  4. Swap m.2 slots between the devices and see if the issue follows the device, you should run a scrub once both are online.
  5. Disk dropped offline and reconnected, SMART looks OK, most likely a power/connection problem.
  6. Rebuild won't help with filesystem issues.
  7. Try a different flash drive, you can also disconnect all SATA devices to see if that makes a difference.
  8. Are you using v6.10 or v6.11, SMB performance improved a lot on v6.11
  9. Still doesn't look look a disk problem, though it could be, but I would first try connecting that drive to the onboard SATA ports to rule out any controller compatibility issue.
  10. If you can have all devices connected at the same time add the NVMe device to the pool, once the balance finishes you can remove the SATA devices form the pool, one by one, just unassign one of them and start the array, when the balance finishes repeat for the other one.
  11. That won't help if you can't get in the board BIOS, do a CMOS reset and/or remove all add-on cards.
  12. The type of error, when it's a media error the error it's usually different, also this: Dec 30 07:44:07 Server kernel: sd 7:0:8:0: Power-on or device reset occurred
  13. Sorry, my bad, the problem was with users not shares, try this: https://wiki.unraid.net/Manual/Troubleshooting#Lost_root_Password Note that you'll need to recreate the users after doing that.
  14. Rename all plg files to bak (/boot/config/plugins) then start renaming them back one by one to see if you can find the culprit.
  15. Post new diags after array start.
  16. I meant for the backup share, so backup.cfg, do you only have that one starting with a b?
  17. Nothing obvious that I can see, if you go to /boot/config/shares do you see that garbled backup share cfg? Do you have a recent flash drive backup?
  18. Make sure the it's using a USB 2.0 port and reboot, if you still see errors after that post the diagnostics.
  19. Diags are after rebooting so we can't see what happened, but the disk looks OK and the UDMA CRC errors suggest a SATA cable problem, replace that cable and since the emulated disk is mounting and assuming contents look correct you can then rebuild on top. https://wiki.unraid.net/Manual/Storage_Management#Rebuilding_a_drive_onto_itself
  20. You can do it manually, with for example Midnight Commander (mc on the console) or the Dynamix File Manager plugin, make sure you move the data form disk share to disk share, you can also use the Unbalance plugin.
  21. Start here: https://forums.unraid.net/topic/46802-faq-for-unraid-v6/?do=findComment&comment=819173
  22. Format is never part of a rebuild, check filesystem on both disks.
  23. Test completed on both so disks are OK for now, keep monitoring.
