  1. Yes, I'm not concerned from the hardware point of view. I'm more looking for a fresh start from the OS PoV... I'd made changes way back when I did the initial install... including deleting the default folders that were created and now I want to bring the install more inline with a stock install. Thanks!
  2. Hey All, I've been running unRaid for... well for quite a long time v4x up until the current version. I'm getting ready to modify the hardware I'm running in it and want to take the time to make a fresh start. The only things I currently want to keep are my Containers. Any process to this, or simply wipe the USB (saving the license key) and start over? Thanks in advance! ~Spritz
  3. Sonarr keeps just crashing (have to restart to get it to work again) and I see the following error --> at <unknown> <0xffffffff> at (wrapper managed-to-native) object.__icall_wrapper_mono_gc_alloc_vector (intptr,intptr,intptr) [0x00009] in <77c9551943624fd18301ba6f78a841e5>:0 at (wrapper alloc) object.AllocVector (intptr,intptr) [0x000bf] in <77c9551943624fd18301ba6f78a841e5>:0 at System.Xml.XmlEncodedRawTextWriter..ctor (System.IO.TextWriter,System.Xml.XmlWriterSettings) [0x00036] in <d94dcfabccbf4e35a08e6fe5b3f74a7e>:0 at System.Xml.XmlWriterSettings.CreateWriter (System.IO.TextWriter) [0x00041] in <d94dcfabccbf4e35a08e6fe5b3f74a7e>:0 at System.Xml.XmlWriter.Create (System.Text.StringBuilder,System.Xml.XmlWriterSettings) [0x00024] in <d94dcfabccbf4e35a08e6fe5b3f74a7e>:0 at NzbDrone.Core.Extras.Metadata.Consumers.Xbmc.XbmcMetadata.EpisodeMetadata (NzbDrone.Core.Tv.Series,NzbDrone.Core.MediaFiles.EpisodeFile) [0x0006d] in M:\BuildAgent\work\b69c1fe19bfc2c38\src\NzbDrone.Core\Extras\Metadata\Consumers\Xbmc\XbmcMetadata.cs:210 at NzbDrone.Core.Extras.Metadata.MetadataService.ProcessEpisodeMetadata (NzbDrone.Core.Extras.Metadata.IMetadata,NzbDrone.Core.Tv.Series,NzbDrone.Core.MediaFiles.EpisodeFile,System.Collections.Generic.List`1<NzbDrone.Core.Extras.Metadata.Files.MetadataFile>) [0x0000d] in M:\BuildAgent\work\b69c1fe19bfc2c38\src\NzbDrone.Core\Extras\Metadata\MetadataService.cs:229 at NzbDrone.Core.Extras.Metadata.MetadataService.CreateAfterSeriesScan (NzbDrone.Core.Tv.Series,System.Collections.Generic.List`1<NzbDrone.Core.MediaFiles.EpisodeFile>) [0x000b8] in M:\BuildAgent\work\b69c1fe19bfc2c38\src\NzbDrone.Core\Extras\Metadata\MetadataService.cs:75 at NzbDrone.Core.Extras.ExtraService.Handle (NzbDrone.Core.MediaCover.MediaCoversUpdatedEvent) [0x00029] in M:\BuildAgent\work\b69c1fe19bfc2c38\src\NzbDrone.Core\Extras\ExtraService.cs:112 at NzbDrone.Core.Messaging.Events.EventAggregator.PublishEvent<TEvent_REF> (TEvent_REF) [0x000c3] in M:\BuildAgent\work\b69c1fe19bfc2c38\src\NzbDrone.Core\Messaging\Events\EventAggregator.cs:56 at NzbDrone.Core.MediaCover.MediaCoverService.HandleAsync (NzbDrone.Core.Tv.Events.SeriesUpdatedEvent) [0x0000c] in M:\BuildAgent\work\b69c1fe19bfc2c38\src\NzbDrone.Core\MediaCover\MediaCoverService.cs:169 at NzbDrone.Core.Messaging.Events.EventAggregator/<>c__DisplayClass4_2`1<TEvent_REF>.<PublishEvent>b__1 () [0x00035] in M:\BuildAgent\work\b69c1fe19bfc2c38\src\NzbDrone.Core\Messaging\Events\EventAggregator.cs:83
  4. So it doesn't matter if I use the same DHCP range that my router is using, since I will be manually forcing an IP? That makes sense... and it won't impact my other containers, unless I use the appropriate switch (--network). Thanks! ~Spritz
  5. So I'm considering doing this to get PiHole working properly. However, I'm concerned with conflicts on with my network DHCP server... is it possible to just assign a static IP and not use a range? Thanks. ~Spritz
  6. Nothing appears to be found... is it possible that inotify has not restarted? root@Brain:/# ps -aux | grep inotify root 116116 0.0 0.0 9640 1832 pts/1 S+ 13:19 0:00 grep inotify root@Brain:/#
  7. So it is. Is their a recommended setting to bump it to for unRaid? Or should I just look to see what people are doing in the various flavors of Linux? ~Spritz
  8. It is a mystery for the ages. I appreciate the help you provided, thank you. Unless dlandon rolls out the update prior to Sunday night, I'll just modify my go script. Again, thank you. ~Spritz
  9. As requested --> root@Brain:/# cat /proc/sys/fs/inotify/max_user_watches 524288
  10. It's running as a docker app, along with --> Plexpy Sonarr NZBGet Radarr Couchpotato (soon to be gone) Crashplan Mylar Headphones NZBHydra Playpy Deluge Thanks again for your help. ~Spritz
  11. Here you go --> CA Auto Update Applications CA Backup/Restore Appdata CA Cleanup Appdata Community Applications Dynamix Cache Directories Dynamix Local Master Dynamix SSD Trim Dynamix System Statistics Dynamix WebGui Fix Common Problems IPMI Support Nerd Tools Open Files Preclear Disks Recycle Bin Tips and Tweaks Unassigned Devices unBalance unRaid Server OS Thanks! ~Spritz
  12. I'm running the latest version (6.3.2), and this is happening when Fix Common Problems is not running... I only have it scheduled to run once a week. This error is showing in unraid's log file (though FCP also picked it up). Further, I have none of the apps installed that are identified as causing this issue by FCP installed. ~Spritz EDIT - Apparently I somehow deleted someone's reply to my post... apologies, it had looked like I had made a duplicate post, I simply meant to delete my duplicate post.
  13. /usr/bin/tail: inotify resources exhausted /usr/bin/tail: inotify cannot be used, reverting to polling I'm often seeing this in my server log, which seems to coincide with Plex having a pausing/stuttering issue. Has anybody else seen this, and/or have suggestions on how to fix it? Thanks! ~Spritz
  14. So I'm seeing the following error with the plugin "Possibly out of inotify watches". However, I don't have any of the 'problem' plugins installed... the only thing that I can think of causing the problem would be Plex monitoring for file changes, as that seems to use inotify. Here is a list of the plugins I have installed --> CA Auto Update Applications CA Backup/Restore Appdata CA Cleanup Appdata Community Applications Dynamix Cache Directories Dynamix Local Master Dynamix SSD Trim Dynamix System Statistics Dynamix WebGui Fix Common Problems IPMI Support Nerd Tools Open Files Preclear Disks Recycle Bin Tips and Tweaks Unassigned Devices unBalance unRaid Server OS Thanks in advance! ~Spritz
  15. I think you misunderstood what I'm trying to do... their will be no proper O/S on these devices... they will simply connect to the backend machine. ~Spritz
  16. Morning All, I'd like to replace both mine and my wife's aging PC's with VM's running off my beast of an unRaid box. However, my unRaid box is in the basement, and it's not practical currently to move the server upstairs. So that being said I'd like to use an inexpensive receiver (RPi3?) to essentially connect back to the VM's running on the unRaid box. The question is, how easy to use is the UI? Is gaming possible on this? What do I need to add to the unRaid box... I know for gaming a video card, but is that it? I see that this has been done in the past (Snoopy's Build). I also know I can use moonlight, but this seems a bit clunkier that what I'd like to use. Any help would be appreciated! ~Spritz
  17. So I'm not sure if this is a Plex Docker issue, or if Plex is just displaying a symptom. It seems though that randomly the media I'm watching will pause for upwards of 30 seconds, and then usually resume without issue. I'm using Rasplex running on a Pi2, with everything hardwired across a gigabit network. My unraid box is a dual 2670 with 128gb of ram, with the transcode directory sitting in memory (though this is for direct play items, so moot point). I've examined the logs, and do not see anything that stands out. Has anybody else had this issue, or can offer some advice? Thanks in advance! ~Spritz
  18. Is LXML installed by default with the container? Thanks! ~Spritz
  19. /facepalm... I actually did read the first post (and a few pages afterwards), but apparently lack of sleep is starting to catch up to me. Apologies for wasting peoples time, and thank you for making me go back and reread the post again. ~Spritz
  20. Hey, quick question. I have both yours and JoeL's script showing, but I only want to use yours. Do you know how I remove Joe's? I know we used to have to manually download it and stick it somewhere, but I can't for the life of me remember where. Thanks! ~Spritz
  21. Since you changed it to set SMB to Read Only upon detection, is their still value in stopping the array? ~Spritz
  22. I installed this plugin, added the exclusions (Recycle bin and *.nfo), and did a build on disks (56TB). It took about 30 hours to complete the build, and hit my system pretty hard (~90% CPU usage), but it finished. I then have it set to check 5 disks at at time, once a week starting on Mondays. So all that being said, my system should be idle now, but I still have 40+ processes of b2sum running that are doing a number on my system. I assume this isn't normal, so I just want to know the best way to kill them. Thanks! ~Spritz EDIT - NVM, rebooted the system and cleared the processes. That being said, I'm seeing the same issue as the posters above me. Either we're mis-configuring the plugin in some (consistent) way, or perhaps a bug. I also excluded .nfo files, but I'm still seeing the above behaviour happen. The only thing that should be hitting those folders on a regular basis is Plex.
  23. A quick google didn't turn up anything... what is this app you speak of? Thanks! ~Spritz
  24. Good Morning, I believe what I'm asking is possible, but would like to verify and to see the best way to do it. Basically I would like to assign Docker to one physical NIC on my host, and then the unRaid GUI/VM's to the second physical NIC. Related (but less important), is it possible on a container by container basis to assign what NIC it will go to... similar to the idea of CPU pinning? Thanks! ~Spritz
  25. Apologies for bumping and old post, but this worked great for me, so thank you! Does anybody know if this is automated/fixed in 6.2, or if a plugin exists to do this? Also, any risk to clearing out these logs? Thanks! ~Spritz
