  1. the MYSQL_ROOT_PASSWORD variable can be used to put a basic password in which then allows you to login to mariadb and administrate MariaDB correctly (setting up security/dedicated users etc)
  2. You are clearly using the root account of mariadb rather than the user you are told to setup in our guide. You'll also find there is probably security on each user that you can only access them from certain hosts/ip's - again this is mentioned in the guide on our blog.
  3. This is more of an issue with the fix common problems plugin rather than our container.
  4. Hard to do anything about this if you aren't providing any logs/examples of this happening. If you are having issues with the Plex TVH plugin, you need to seek support from the plugin developer, not us. Just an FYI, I've never seen an issue with tvheadend leaving a channel stream open, possibly something to do with your hardware? My setup is a Digitbit R1 Network Tuner which is controlled by TVHeadend and the content is viewed via Kodi and it's TVHeadend PVR plugin.
  5. It's the client that deals with this, not the server. For example, on dsub for android, you can cast audio to chromecast devices. I would check to see what clients there are on iOS that have airplay support.
  6. Yep. When I setup mine, I started a fresh container > copied fresh profile to my windows kodi install > loaded up kodi and configured > copied back to kodi-headless.
  7. To get trakt working with kodi-headless, create/setup a kodi profile on a normal install and copy the contents of the profile over to kodi-headless.
  8. This image has been updated now. A manual update was pushed by @sparklyballs. Our images are updated every friday at 11pm GMT and the update that fixed this bug was released after that.
  9. Use your unraid hostip instead of 127.0.0.1.
  10. I would say this is an issue with the TVHeadend Plugin with Emby rather than an issue with our docker container. Best to get support over at the emby forums.
  11. @jrdnlc worth trying to export your data from the other container you used then importing it into a fresh version of our container? not much else we can suggest.
  12. Probably should've taken a backup of your data. Maybe try starting the container from fresh?
  13. If you are using a SAT>IP device with tvheadend, you need it set to host, Otherwise use bridge.
  14. Could you try the release-4.2 branch of TVH? I believe there is a bug in the latest versions of TVH that stop's clients from seeing the recordings.
  15. This isn't our container, you are using a binhex container. Please go to that thread for support.
  16. Some information on docker run command / template setup would help
  17. Yep, I use this with a remote sftp host and no problems there. You might find its something to do with the remote unraid host.
  18. The update will get applied to our container once it hits the stable repo/branch as that's what our container points to.
  19. I'm personally just use comskip to create a vdr file so that kodi knows where the adverts are and skips them. Where are you based? wondering how well the comskip.ini will work on uk tv channels.
  20. It's all explained in the readme: https://hub.docker.com/r/linuxserver/tvheadend/
  21. bouquets is only really a DVB-S thing as on DVB-T(2) channels are restricted via frequency.
  22. Ahh ok, not sure what else to suggest! I haven't used tvheadend itself as a satip server. Personally for my DVB-S stuff, I run a Digibit R1 which is a network satip device, which I use via tvheadend, great bit of kit.
  23. I think your best option would be to do the following and setup minisatip docker on your server (Make sure host networking is enabled). This should present your DVB-S card to the network as a satip device. Once you have done that, test your satip receivers (dreambox or even satip app on android for example) and if that works, I can help you on the next step
  24. @unJim Sorry if you have already mentioned this, but what are you trying to achieve in the grand scheme of things? what kinda devices are you trying to get live tv on?
