while I am waiting fot my 1T & 2T drives to finish, I figured I would ask about the results of one of my 500G drives...
anyway, one of my 500G drives finished and just said it was finished... I am guessing that is good...
the other 500G drive pooped out this:
S.M.A.R.T. error count differences detected after pre-clear
note, some 'raw' values may change, but not be an indication of a problem

I am guessing most of that stuff is a non-issue... but I am confused about:
< 1 Raw_Read_Error_Rate 0x000b 100 100 016 Pre-fail Always - 65536
whats a <1 raw read error rate? and why so many?
technically I have a 3rd 500G that wont preclear... but I think I figured that one out all on my own... I am guessing the sata cable actually needs to be plugged in for preclear to work... of course that's just a wild guess... wonder why I left the cable just hanging there, off to the side... I am sure I had a good reason... I think...
