  1. Ok I am going to ask the stupid quesion here. How do I get steam to point to this server. I want it private for now to test it out. port 28015 reports closed even though i port fwd through the router. Wondering if this is my issue
  2. I am trying to install a win 7 64 bit vm on version 6.4.0 and no matter what I configure for the disk size windows reports 0mb disk size cannot install to this disk Not sure what I am doing wrong here.
  3. Can you add a screenshot of your new settings? Calibre server (8081) should open the library at the address defined by the libraryinternalpath variable The books are imported into the config folder, not inside the container. Why don't you set the config folder to where you want to keep the library?
  4. Thanks will do -Edit to add screenshot incase it helps
  5. Ok I spoke a little too soon, but this is a different problem. Going to 8080 and selecting calibre works fine, going to 8081 it still thinks the library is at /config so it finds no books and causes errors. Where can I fix this?
  6. AH Thank You Guys, I updated and it works perfect now.
  7. I need some help with RDP-Calibre I installed and it loads fine, I have a large library that I want stored outside of the container. I added the new path and added the variable like the instructions said but as soon as I do it shows up as an orphaned image. Can someone please take a look and tell me what I did wrong?
  8. typo here it is ok on the server. I have a Foscam FI8918W I am trying to connect to it and I just cannot make it work I am going to have to read a bunch more on the zoneminder config
  9. Ok so I finally found out that it has to go in users/appdata For the container port is that supposed to stay on port 80? I am using another unused port # for the webgui but I am unsure if 80 will cause a conflict on unraid.
  10. Hi I am trying to install zoneminder on a new install of unraid 6, I just upgraded from 4.7 The problem is I am a complete Linux idiot and I think I did it wrong. In path to install and config I put a path to a share on the server and of course I cannot find it now with http://serverip:port Can someone please give me a step by step of what I am supposed to do to install this? it is my first unraid docker/app attempt.
  11. Thanks Frank, I did that but it did not resolve the problem. The reboot of the windows box seemed to flush out whatever old info was stuck in there.
  12. Ok now I feel like a complete idiot.......Rebooting the windows machine solved it. Must have been some kind of smb conflict I guess.
  13. Hi everyone, I upgraded from 4.7 to the latest version following the clean install procedure. I did copy over the couple of config files that were mentioned as safe. The array booted and I assigned the disks as they were before, I then ran the new permissions tool. Now my shares show up fine when I go to \\tower but they cannot all be accessed. When I click on some of the shares I get an message that says that \\tower\share name is unavailable. I can access them via the unraid web gui or if I go to my computer and map a network drive it works that way but still not from the \\tower list of shares. Any Ideas? Thanks for any help.
  14. Thanks I will look into it. It has been a busy few days and I have not had a chance to play with this issue again yet.
  15. Getting I/O errors in the syslog. Unassigned it from being the cache drive and tried to preclear it and got an error that it was not responding. I will try a new cable tomorrow but I have a feeing this drive may have issues even though it did not redball.
  16. This is still on 4.7 and how can I correct permissions on the existing files? If I try to chown from root to nobody it errors that it is a read only system file.
  17. I cannot add a syslog board is saying the upload folder is full
  18. Sorry I could not find a place to post for 4.7 issues. When I try to delete files from the sabnzbd completed folder I get an error saying I need permission from root. I cannot do it from midnight commander either. If I reboot I can delete a few but then I get the same error again it seems like after everything finishes loading.
  19. I believe they are all seagate. Two show up as Hitachi but I have never bought a Hitachi drive. If memory serves they are Seagate. I am not having any problems was just looking and trying to avoid them. So errors like this are nothing to worry about? Disk 4: *ERROR* - Reallocated_Sector_Ct it is now 33 (error threshold is 30) Disk 4: *ERROR* - Reallocated_Event_Count it is now 55 (error threshold is 30) Disk 4: WARNING - Power_On_Hours it is now 20427 (warning threshold is 20000) Thanks again, just trying to avoid data loss.
  20. I ran a smart history this morning and I am not sure which numbers are serious problems. Can someone please take a look and let me know what should be replaced? I think I have read that the Raw_Read_Error_Rate is normal to have a high value or points to a cable issue rather than drive itself. Thanks for the help SMART_unRAID_Server.txt
  21. Awesome find, Thank You! I just snagged a free year.
  22. Do you have it set to run SABNzbd to sickbeard script? It will not move it from SABnzbd dowloads complete since your SABnzbd directory starts with a period telling the mover to leave it alone.
  23. I would not worry about that happening. If you start off with 3 data drives plus parity in storage spaces it creates 4 strip parity. When you want to expand your storage you have to add another 4 drives to the strip set.....start off with 6 drives you need to add 6 more to expand the space. Unraid is a lot more user friendly, just add a drive here or there.
