  1. I'm getting the following error message in the backuppc docker wen I try to edit host configs:

Can't use string ("1") as a HASH ref while "strict refs" in use at/usr/local/BackupPC/lib/BackupPC/CGI/EditConfig.pm line 600.

    Any thoughts?

  2. I upgraded to 6.12 from 6.11.5 and I can no longer access my server from my windows 10 VM, i.e. my mapped drives are unavailable and while my server shows up in the windows network I get an error message "the network path is not found" When I run Windows diagnostics it reports "Remote device won't accept the connection."  I  can access my server through the web gui in my windows vm interestingly enough. No ip addresses have changed from 6.11.5. I have since down graded to 6.11.5 and all is well.  Any thoughts? Diagnostics are attached.

  4. I recently have have experienced a problem with my flash drive "dropping offline", i.e. I can't access the Unraid web gui from my Windows 10 VM. The VM keeps working fine but the shares are unreachable via the network. Shutting down and restarting solves the problem.  I've attached diagnostics and the last log from my log server.  Any advice?  Thanks and Happy Holidays!syslog-192.168.0.190.logsyslog-192.168.0.190.logsyslog-192.168.0.190.log

  5. I've been using the backuppc docker for a month or so and I'm trying to get email notifications working. I've configured msmptrc and can send test emails via the command line in the docker console but a script that I had successfully used in backuppc running in a vm doesn't send an email. I've attached a copy of the script.  BTW, I can execute the script via the console command line and an email is sent without any variables. Any ideas?

  6. I created a Ubuntu server 18.04 vm and when I edit the vm to add a share mount point I can no longer ssh into the vm via putty. Aslo, other network functionality seems to be gone.  I can get into the vm via VNC and the share is mounted. I have edited fstab with the same parameters I have successfully used on another Ubuntu VM I'm running.  If I remove the mount point and delete reference to it in fstab I can once again ssh into the vm. I'm stumped.  BTW, I'm running 6.10.03. Any suggestions?

Here's the line I have used successfully in my other vm:

    Movies /media/Movies 9p noauto,x-systemd.automount,x-systemd.device-timeout=10,timeo=14,x-systemd.idle-timeout=0,trans=virtio,version=9p2000.L,_netdev,rw   0     0

    Diagnostics attached.

  7. I have done this before, if I recall:

    1. Stop the array

    2. Unselect malfunctioning disk

    3. Start the Array (missing disk will be emulated0

    4. Shut down the server

    5. Replace the disk

    6. Start the server

    7. Stop the array and select the replacement disk

    8. Start the array and the replacement disk will be rebuilt.

    Procedure good?

  9. When I upgraded from 6.92 to 6.10 I was unable to boot my Windows 10 VM.  I tried safe mode, same problem.  I reverted back to 6.92 and booting into Windows is fine.  While on 6.10 I also tried booting into a Windows 7 VM, same problem. I ran the upgrade assistant and everything seemed good to go. Is anyone else experiencing this?  Anything else to try?

  11. In the process of moving, my router decided it was a good time to change my unRaid server's IP address.  I can only login now unsecured.  It's been a while since I set up the secure login (https) and I'm at a loss  as to the procedure.  I'm running version 6.9.2 stable.  If someone  could point me in the right direction I would appreciate it.  Thanks.

The eSATA includes a port multiplier:

    Apr 17 14:05:41 Tower kernel: ata1.15: Port Multiplier 1.2, 0x197b:0x0562 r0, 2 ports, feat 0x5/0xf

That's my guess on what's causing the problems, not even sure the onboard AMD SATA controller suports port multipliers, Intel doesn't.

That makes sense.  I tried another estata caddy that doesn't have a port multiplier and the disk mounts.

  13. [Solved] Since upgrading to 6.9 I've been unable to mount drives which I have been previously able to mount on 6.8.  Diagnostics are attached.  I have an external caddy (StarTech)  and I've tried both estata and usb connections, no luck.  BTW, the drives mount via usb (hot plug) in my Windows 10 VM. Diagnostics attached.
