  1. Hmm. Try this: make the share exist only on disk1 and use the path /mnt/disk1/appdata/plexrequests Not sure if that will work but it's worth a try I had this same problem and making the appdata share only use disk5 worked for me.
  2. Back when I started this topic, the error seemed to have cleared itself after a BIOS flash. After many months of flawless operation I got a random reboot and got stuck in this "machine check error" loop again. I applied the fix as instructed by jonp and I'm back in business. Thanks jonp!
  3. I just upgraded my server to run 6.0 but I'm getting MACHINE CHECK ERROR right after the UEFI boot screen. After multiple power cycles unRAID booted up and appears to be working okay. However, if I reboot the machine I will get the error again and will have to keep rebooting until it boots. Any ideas? Is the Asrock UEFI not playing well with syslinux? Specs: Asrock Z97E-ITX/ac Intel i5-4690k (vt-d supported but disabled in UEFI) 2x4GB DDR3-1600 Crucial Ballistix
  4. Is there a way to wipe the free space on the array?
  5. Thanks for the troubleshooting link! It looks like I have bad sectors on this drive. I already put in an RMA claim with WD. While I wait for the replacement, is my data at risk? From what I understand, it's okay as long as I don't have another drive failure. root@unraid:/boot# smartctl -a -d ata /dev/sda smartctl 5.40 2010-10-16 r3189 [i486-slackware-linux-gnu] (local build) Copyright (C) 2002-10 by Bruce Allen, http://smartmontools.sourceforge.net === START OF INFORMATION SECTION === Model Family: Western Digital Caviar Green (Adv. 6. I have Time Machine on my laptop set to back up to an AFP share on disk4. Yesterday I noticed it was backing up very slow so I checked the syslog and saw a ton of errors. I then started a parity check (which is still going, 22 hours later) and the errors are constantly streaming as shown below and on the attached syslog. So far the parity check shows zero sync errors found but the rate is 200KB/sec at 96%. I have done no other troubleshooting, nor know where to start. Please advise. Thanks!
