yes . I shut down. remove the drive from Drive bay.. it keeps saying is still available. reboot. still shows up in the list of available drives. and Yes i confirmed the Serial # etc.

Hi, I had a disk fail. so i out a new one its in position.. but unpaid was always showing the Old"bad drive". So i added the new disk to a new bay and it build parity just fine. but now the Old drives is still showing up in un-assigned devices and smarts keep saying it bad. i removed it from the bay. how do i get rid of this drive .

Just use the network option and point it to the ip of your ipmi.

Hi I was given 3 2tb hitachi drives. dk7ssd200. new never used. So i tough I you used them on my rpc4224 unraid box. 6.1.9 I am using a LSI sas controller. but it seems these EMC drive have a specific firmware on them for EMC Raid array and are formatted to 520b Sectors. they are not recognize at all in unraid or controller. My question is how Do change the firmware back to default on the drives using the unraid CLI? any ideas?

Hi, I am looking for what you gents recommend to do backups/replication on unraid 6.01 I have 2 unraid 6.01 servers in 2 diff locations. I want to copy only files on Serve A from Shared folders to Server B Shared Folders. ( New or older files) Only Files that server B does not have should be copied from server A . Compare and add what is missing. (compare by file name) also If server A deletes files .. nothing happens on Server B. If server B has files server A does not.. do nothing. Looking to have this automated as well. any suggestion appreciated

I can view the files on the USB boot flash when I click on the Folder icon under boot device but I dont see it in my Shares tab or SMB network view from other PC's I must be doing something obviously wrong..

Hi, I can see my Usb boot device in the menu as Flash sda How to add it to my Shares, so i can copy files to it ( example new Unraid version) without having to remove my sub stick from the box.

Hmm I added the Iperf Plugin and get 1.2 MB/s this is just running off the USB stick via Unraid..VM in esxi 5.5 Iperf on MAC to IPerf on Unraid 5.05 in Esxi vm = 1.2MB/s if I run Iperf MAC to IPERF on Ubuntu VM in ESXI = 80MB/s plus..
