  1. No...because the exact same extension worked BEFORE the update and all previous updates.... Say it with me: Old Code worked....ok New Code breaks on same setup.....that's a bug in the code-change What is so hard about that?
  2. Hi LJM42, Thanks for the follow-up...and I understand what you're saying but that isn't the issue. All earlier versions worked on this same setup/extensions/pi-hole setups/etc.....once this new version came along; the issue began. An earlier post narrowed it down to Grammerly and while even white-listing the site - it still occurs. The only 'hack workarounds' are to open incognito (which requires a new log-in)...or totally remove the extension (which worked fine in all previous versions).
  3. I guess I would consider that more of a 'hack work-around'...but there is still something different/new in this release that is a 'bug'
  4. I appreciate all of the help - but this issue still is persistent & repeatable....and has not occurred with other releases. There is still an issue with the current codebase. =-dave
  5. Thanks for the thoughts/info. Both the IP and the DNS name of my server are whitelisted. What is strange is that it worked pre-update; so it has to be some implemented changed. The only other thing is that it is contacting some AD server (and my Pi-Hole is catching it). I've also white-listed the server there - why would it be contacting some AD service? Still searching for clarity, =dave
  6. Ahhh....good idea...and...drumroll...IT WORKS! I'm in the terminal window and no blanking/whiting out! Were you able to go 'one by one' and see which one (or was it the whole 'shields' part) was causing the problem? Thanks for the idea! =dave
  7. Howdy - I listed the Chrome version in a response....but thought it worth trying in others. IE & Edge - didn't work. But why not Chrome? Worked great pre-6.8.0? Appreciate all the hard/good work! =dave
  8. I've cleared site cookies (using Chrome Version 78.0.3904.108 (Official Build) (64-bit)....made sure of the Whitelist exception in AdBlock. Tried in Microsoft Edge....the terminal window opens IN White (not even a chance to have a terminal like Chrome) Is nobody else experiencing this?
  9. When using the GUI to open a terminal window - after about 20 seconds the window turns white (and non-responsive - I've tried 'clear' and 'exit' - with no response). I can 'F5/Reload' the window and it works (for another 20 seconds). Repeatable Thanks in advance - dave P.S. Do items reported via the GUI 'Feedback -> Bug Reports' automagically show up here? Posted this earlier via that method and didn't see it show up...please ignore if repeated. Thx tower3-diagnostics-20191211-1755.zip
  10. [SOLVED} edit /root/.bash_profile adding the line: export PATH="$PATH:/mnt/user/scripts"
  11. Can you help me to correctly modify/set-this-up? I've looked through my 'go' file and don't see that the path variable is set there. I'm nervous about setting one as it might overwrite where it setup (somewhere else)? Thanks again - dave
  12. Everyone - I've tried to RTFM and couldn't find the answer/direction (if you find it - please just provide a link, thx). I've created a few scripts to help automate file moving on my UnRaid servers. I'm a CLI kinda guy and used the 'Terminal' to do so...but find that my user directory keeps getting erased between reboots. Can someone help me to find 'permanence' for scripts/files in the user (i.e. Root) directory? Thanks in advance - dave
  13. Cool...sorry for not being more thorough. Have never had to 'go there'. My original issue is with the 'Shadow box buttons'....I don't see how/where that can be changed under 'Display Settings'?
  14. First time poster (because it 'just works' & I haven't had issues)....but this latest change is a bit 'butt ugly' for me. I know that we're going to get into the realm of 'no matter what you do; people wont be happy'.....but maybe there could be an inclusion of a way to change/install 'Themes'? So that those who wanted it changed - could go back and/or create their own theme? Just an idea - Thanks for listening dave
  15. Hi Gary - thanks for the quick follow-up...and this probably answers why I wasn't able to find much information about it. I just felt like, "Dang, they are saying 6.0 Gb/s...but only running at 3.0 Gb/s". It seemed like there might be a way to 'double' performance!? Either way, do you know if/when a new 'performance' guide might be written for the 6.0+ Version? And/or link to the old one that might still be relevant? Thanks in advance, =-dave
  16. I have two Un-Raid setups...have been enjoying them for years! I'm thinking about (simple) ways to optimize/improve their performance and one 'issue' seems to strike me and I can't seem to find a clear answer on the Forums (if there is one, please reply with the link...thanks!). On my two systems, I have some drives that have SATA Version 2.6 (running at 3.0 Gb/s) and some that are SATA Version 3.*+ (running at SATA 3.0, 6.0 Gb/s (current: 3.0 Gb/s)). Question: If I were to move/replace drives to ensure that all are SATA Version 3.0*+; would the system performance improve? Would they all be running at 6.0 Gb/s and not be downgraded? Thanks in advance, -dave
  17. for those of us without the blessing of mind-reading - can you share the sticky/links?
  18. Talk about a heart-stop! Thanks for/to your email; I'm back up and running. Thanks again for posting!
  19. I do not know of a way to run it in a way to send its output to the web browser, so no web-interface is possible. It is a command line interface and expects to dynamically update your screen. That's not a real answer....in that almost NONE of the tools have normal web-interface's?! For example - the 'Disk Performance' tab output's it's same info to the screen...the way that it's used/redirected for the web interface (where it continually updates) should be the same way that iftop can/should be redirected to print it's continually updating info onto the web-interface? Isn't that the whole beauty of *nix? I'm not trying to dispute Joe's knowledge - but I'm also hoping for a 'within the UnMenu web interface' output of the iftop info? Thanks in advance - dave
