  1. I have that same board, I'll try upgrading this weekend and see if I run into the same issue. Going back to 6.2.x is just copying the bzimage file back?
  2. I'm using Emby as a backend and Kodi for the front end with the Emby for Kodi plugin. The front end is running on an nvidia shield and I use a harmony remote to control it all. I love it! It can play anything I can throw at it and it's wife approved (most important). I can also stream to my phone or to anywhere else I want. I can pause and resume on any tv in the house (multiple shields).
  3. Not sure what you mean. htaccess is going to use its own user and password list, not related to emby in any way. Have you set up your htaccess password file? http://tools.dynamicdrive.com/password/ Sorry I totally missed an important piece of info. I'm trying to get it to work on the Emby Android mobile app. It works fine in a web browser.
  4. Hey guys Sorry if this is a dumb question but I can get Emby to work with my reverse proxy that has htaccess set up. I can't figure out a way to put in a username and password (I tried username:password@url). Any suggestions? Edit: This is for the android emby app
  5. I'd expect that, if you read farther down the page there were some changes made with the latest updates to 10 that disabled those. I feel your pain with the HA, the program I'm using (homeseer) only recently got their linux version to a point that I feel comfortable trying it. I'm currently still using a W7 vm to run it, haven't had the time to migrate. I'll give those a try. I'm running Homeseer as well
  6. I tried the first 2 or 3 suggestions but they didn't work still rebooted last night. Was hoping someone with success could let me know how they did it. If only Linux, my HA software needs Windows.
  7. Hi Guys, Wasn't sure where to post this. I've tried all the guides I can find. Has anyone successfully been able to stop Windows 10 Pro from rebooting after updates? If so can you please share how to do it? It's driving me crazy. I don't want Win10 rebooting at all without me explicitly doing so. Thanks.
  8. Upgraded from 6.2.1 without any issues. Win10 VM came up, and all my docker containers came up as well. Thanks! I'm digging this release cycle time! Edit: Wanted to add that I shut off my VM before rebooting. I do not shut off my docker containers.
  9. I have. You can select FreeDOS from the menu to get it installed. It will drop you into a DOS prompt when you boot off flash drive. I just used it last week to upgrade the bios of a supermicro board at work. I used it today to image UBCD onto a flash drive on my mac in order to run DBAN.
  10. Would something like this work for you? I've used it in the past and it worked well for my needs. https://unetbootin.github.io/
  11. @RobJ I've attached my diag and dmesg diagnostics-20160929-0934.zip dmesg.txt
  12. No keyboard or mouse connected, access server by IPMI Just to add that don't have any issue with acs override off. Just wanted to point out that I also don't have a keyboard or mouse connected (though I did when I did the initial upgrade).
  13. Oh man, that polo looks like I'm going to come to your house and fix your computer a bit cheesy IMO
  14. I would totally buy a shirt, hoodie, or gear (assuming the design was somewhat good). I think just slapping your logo on a plain white shirt looks really cheesy.
  15. Thanks to YOU guys at Limetech for a really nice upgrade with 6.2 By the way, have you had a chance to take a look at this issue? https://lime-technology.com/forum/index.php?topic=51878.0 REALLY strange that it boots in GUI mode, but simply goes in a reboot loop otherwise. Have looked at it but can't reproduce just yet. Still a little perplexed on that one but definitely seems like hardware may be a little buggy there. I had the *exact* same problem when I upgraded last night. Tried different USB ports, stick, fresh install, etc, etc. Only having it boot in GUI mode works. Memory test came up with no issues, and a parity check completed with no errors. Can't find anything useful logged anywhere apparently. It's just bizarre. I have a SuperMicro X11SSH-F with a Xeon BX80662E31230V5, 32GB ECC RAM, 7 4TB drives, and 2 850EVO SSDs. Interesting. I have the Supermicro X11SSH-LN4F with no issues, I think the boards are pretty similar aside from the 4 nics.
  16. Just wanted to post a positive experience. Upgraded from 6.1.9. I removed the power down plugin before doing the update. Everything updated from the gui without a hitch! I removed a small drive and replaced it with a larger drive for a 2nd parity and that went great as well. I've only update on docker container but it updated fine and started up without problems. I already had an appdata folder on my cache drive so I'm guessing that had something to do with some of the success. Thanks for all of everyone's hard work.
  17. Would the steps be similar if I was replacing a drive I emptied with a larger drive as a 2nd parity? 1. Unassign old drive 2. Power off and swap with larger drive 3. Power on and assign new larger drive as 2nd parity Is that right?
  18. Huh, then I have no idea! I usually clean out my computers at ~100 PSI Hope you guys aren't cleaning them out with the drives still in. Drives (except for the helium filled ones) have tiny holes (and filters) to equalize pressure and prevent dust from getting into them. The last thing you want to do is force the dust in. I always took the drives out. I thought 100 PSI was OK, but either way that's another conversation.
