[CONTAINER] CrashPlan & CrashPlan-Desktop
I removed the docker, reinstalled the docker and back to normal. Something with the update went wrong and caused the issue. Next update I'll see if the same thing happens.

[CONTAINER] CrashPlan & CrashPlan-Desktop
I took a snapshot of my screen. Weird. Crashplan can't find my shares in /mnt/user. I never made any manually changes until I guess a recent change was made by CP. If I log into SSH I see all my shares fine, but using the local WebUI it can't see/find any. I don't connect to CP from another computer, I just simply use the built in WebUI that's present in the docker. I don't think it could be a port issue but never came across this one. Anyone else?

[CONTAINER] CrashPlan & CrashPlan-Desktop
Crashplan just updated to 4.8.0. It crashed during the update I guess, so I was forced to reboot and that brought it back to life. It is now syncing. Running 6.2.1.

Asking for Password when browsing share
I get the same thing. It is a Windows thing. I work with multiple domains and networks at work and can usually wiggle my way through and around the network.....but this one I've tried everything and it seems I'm just locked out.

LSI Controller FW updates IR/IT modes
I got these from Amazon, little more expensive but a lot of hardware I get from abroad is either refurb or something small wrong with it. So I try to stay local. https://www.amazon.com/Cable-Matters-Internal-Mini-SAS-Breakout/dp/B012BPLYJC I always got "fooled" since the reverse cables look the same.

LSI Controller FW updates IR/IT modes
The forward and reverse cables are literally identical looking. I also bought FORWARD cables from Ebay and they didn't work. The vendor said he probably sent me REVERSE and sent me another cable set and those were the correct ones.

Did you clear/wipe the firmware first?

LSI Controller FW updates IR/IT modes
If this kind of stuff is new to you I do suggest to try and read through this thread. I've flashed several cards and also have posted a link to download the files you may need. It was specifically for the Dell Perc H310 card so you will need to make sure that your MegaRAID card uses the same chipset. Did you get the download package from this thread?

[CONTAINER] CrashPlan & CrashPlan-Desktop
I don't have a very high upload speed, I think it caps out around 30-40Mbps and after I added that extra 40GB to Crashplan the upload time indicates 2.1 years. Too funny. I think I'll stick to my couple terabytes that I have up there now. Not very practical in my case. The users that have 10+ TB on Crashplan, what kind up upload speeds do you have and how long did it take to complete that initial upload?

600mb of memory ? everyone... 1TB of memory would be for approx 1500tb of storage... I think you misread my post.. Their requirements are the same as zfs asks... so probably not that over the top.. Yea, misread that one. What I read and what was in my head two different things.
-
[CONTAINER] CrashPlan & CrashPlan-Desktop
For Crashplan to quote such impossible memory requirements is ridiculous. Who has 600MB? Who has 1TB of memory? No one. Maybe a super computer that costs as much as a car.

[CONTAINER] CrashPlan & CrashPlan-Desktop
I run my Crashplan in a VM. Yesterday I added an additional 25TB of data to my backup files and wondered how the resources in the VM were doing, so I brought up the resources monitor utility. The VM barely used any memory and ran very smoothly as did the unraid stats themselves. I noticed I had too many cores dedicated to the VM, so I removed 5 of them and just now have 2. Everything still runs smooth in the VM and also the host runs good too. The scanning of the extra files took about 10 minutes. Damn... then something is seriously wrong here... Any thoughts ? I have mailed crashplan support.. How many memory are you giving the VM ? I have been giving the VM 16MB, but seeing how it only uses %9 of during a peak time I'm lowering that to 2MB. (%10 of 16MB - 1.6MB) - I think 2MB would be fine and I could care less how long it takes. Kind of set it and forget it. I left the resource monitor on the entire time it scanned all the new files and the memory never went over %9. I was under the impression Crashplan was using a lot more resources but when I finally checked myself it was not. What happens when you try to to select just one folder with 1GB or less in it? Does your Crashplan go to work after that?

The Power Supply Thread
I have an EVGA, bought it just to check it out. It's ok, but time will tell. Still in it's first year. Didn't like the bright red cables but no real big deal. Keep in mind, most power supplies do not make their own. They are just slapping labels on it manufactured from another company. EVGA does not make their own. I'm dedicated and will always vouch for Seasonic and have the experience with them. I run lots of Bitcoin miners and I exclusively use only Seasonic power supplies. They do make their own PSU's and use very good quality parts. To this day I've never had one die on me yet and I have over 30 ( possibly 70 at one time) of them running 24/7 all with at least a %60 load. Most of them %80 load. They never complain, shutdown or have fan issues. They just run good. I have had Corsair's in the past and had to trade up all of them with a complaint to Corsair. This was a while ago. Before I knew what I know now. I spent quite a bit of money on a large order of Corsair's, all the same model. Within a year they started to overheat and fail. The fan would be faulty and/or the capacitor's failed. This particular model I had was manufactured by Flextronics ( if memory serves me right ). Long story short Corsair replaced all of the power supplies with a model that I wanted. I found out which models were manufactured by Seasonic and picked one of those. Still running, no problems. Disclaimer: This is not to say there aren't any good PSU's out there that just slap a label on them. This is just my experience since I have quite a few, but do have limit experience on the models out there. I kind of just bought Seasonic/Corsair.

unRAID 6 NerdPack - CLI tools (iftop, iotop, screen, kbd, etc.)
What terminal emulation are you using? I use UTF-8 and anything I've tried "graphical" like Midnight Commander always looked fine. I tried IFTOP and it looked a little odd.

Speedtest.net for unRAID 6.1+
I tried your xml and other than the blank tests it didn't cause a manual test to not work. You could uninstall and just delete the speedtest directory since there's not much in there. Then reinstall. Which browser did you try? Try Ctrl-F5 and clear the browser cache. If that doesn't work try clearing cookies and cache. Then you can try these from the command line and let me know if they work. speedtest-xml /usr/bin/python /usr/local/emhttp/plugins/speedtest/scripts/speedtest.py The command line version works ok. Something must of got stuffed up in the folder or something. I can uninstall it, delete all the folders and try a reinstall. Thanks.

LSI Controller FW updates IR/IT modes
It isn't really needed. I used cards with no SAS address and I've used cards with SAS addresses I made up myself, just as they were different then the other one. It is the last step in the process and from my experience it isn't needed. For at least with my system. I do recommend running the megacli command to get all the adapter info, just in case you need it. Here is what the command looks like sas2flsh -o -sasadd 500605bxxxxxxxxx

Speedtest.net for unRAID 6.1+
I just performed the update, rebooted and the same thing happens. I also tried Internet Explorer which I never use. I haven't tried renaming the folder yet in hopes you need to maybe troubleshoot. Here is my XML file. Let me know if you need anything else. Thanks. <?xml version="1.0"?> <tests><test name="1454894160235" host="T-Mobile (West Norriton, PA) [70.59 km]" ping="24.939 ms" download="167.96 Mbit/s" upload="22.02 Mbit/s" share="http://www.speedtest.net/result/5067135220.png"/><test name="1456612126842"/><test name="1456612187169"/><test name="1456692121211"/><test name="1456692163187"/></tests>

Speedtest.net for unRAID 6.1+
I used this tool once on Feb 7th. Went to try today and I get the same thing in this post. I uninstalled it and reinstalled it using the plugin manager and still doesn't work. I guess I'll try to move the entire plugin folder and reinstall.

LSI Controller FW updates IR/IT modes
I copied these from some of the notes I had. Maybe they will help. Here's all misc files if you need more. I pretty much slapped everything together here. http://www.diggsnet.com/unraid/ 1. This gets all your adapter information and throws it into a file. Saves your cards SAS address. megacli.exe -adpallinfo -aall -applogfile adaptersinfo.txt 2. Saves the controllers SBR - kind of optional. Most packages include an empty SBR file. If you continue with doing it on your own then continue to the next step. megarec.exe -readsbr 0 orig.sbr 3. Wipe the controllers SBR. megarec -writesbr 0 empty.bin (lots of packages you'll see a file already named EMPTY.BIN created) 4. Clear the controllers BIOS megarec -cleanflash 0 4. Flashing the card. If you also want to flash the BIOS you would need to add this to the command "-b MPTSAS2.ROM". Since both my cards are just used passively/passthru I did not feel the need to flash the BIOS. I just did the firmware. sas2flsh.exe -l flashlog.txt -o -f 2118it.bin

LSI Controller FW updates IR/IT modes
I got an question/massage, see image. I hope it should be OK so my flash went OK [emoji53] don't remember now what step , but is was one of the first step after reboot I received the same message and most of the sas2flsh utilities won't let you bypass or continue. One of the old versions of sas2flsh will and prompt you with a Y/N, like yours does.

LSI Controller FW updates IR/IT modes
I understand there are 2 different versions of P20, a bad buggy P20 that ends in .0.0, and a good P20 that ends in .4.0. The one I used was this one, and is on that USB stick download. Been running for a few months now with no problems. \firmware\HBA_9211_8i_IT\2118it.bin Version no: 20.00.04.00 Release date: 21-MAY-15

LSI Controller FW updates IR/IT modes
I just zipped up the flash stick I had that I used to flash my H310 cards. The P20 firmware and bios is there. Sorry for files being all over the place but there are different versions of sas2flash and also I included a dos text editor so you can view files easily. I don't use uefi so I can't comment on that. https://www.diggscloud.com/index.php/s/ZfxaRmv6p6kkVHb
