  1. Appreciate the feedback, thank you very much. Will take jonathanm's prudent recommendation to do a backup. Data drives are so inexpensive now. lionelhutz, I looked at each file and will definately copy over the three you recommended, disk.cfg, share.cfg and super.dat. Also I looked at the remaining files within my 32 bit config directory and I am also going to copy over the network.cfg, ident.cfg and passwd. Are there any considerations about copying over these 3 files onto the 64bit flash I am in no rush to do this, I have a new drive on order to back up the data offline. Thanks again for the info.
  2. I am running the 32 bit 5.0.6 on a small 1 parity, 2 data and 1 cache disk system The parity and data disks are 3 TB each, Cache disk is 500 GB. I am running Plex Media Server on the unRaid. I wish to change everything to 64 bit. I have a thumb with unRaid 6 beta 12 on it along with a purchased key. If I am not mistaken I should be able to boot the new 64 bit ver 6 beta 12. Go through the initial setup and assign all disks as they are assigned in the 32 bit version. Same array device setup, same cache, same shares, etc... Then all the data disks should reflect what I have now with the 32 bit. Am I being a little too simplified in my thinking and approach to changing to 64 bit? Is there something I should do or a better way of converting to a 64 bit unRaid? Or something I should watch out for and be careful about? I do not wish to lose any data on the 2 drives. Any help is appreciated.
  3. Thanks theone, for the expedient reply. Currently I am running a Plex Media Server off a UnRaid 5.0.5 box. I have become interested in VirtualBox & am doing a lot of reading on it. Recently saw the threads about "VirtualBox compiled for unRAID" and thought about what a good idea that is. I may ask for the compilation in the few weeks or so, to play around with it.
  4. Any idea if there is a vbox 4.3.16 compilation for the unraid 5.0.5, (3.9.11p)? I did not see a 3.9.11p listing on the web site, only ones for 3.16.2 and 3.16.3
