  1. Flash backup is unrelated to this thread, please see my recent comment here for more details: https://forums.unraid.net/topic/128043-my-servers-will-not-do-flash-backup/#comment-1167192 If you see something like this in your syslog: ⚠️ UNRAID API crashed with exit code 1 then doing this (before rebooting) will provide a few more details: cat /var/log/unraid-api/crash.json At this point we don't know why the system was having issues, but I'm glad you are back up and running.
  2. Hmm, unraid-api is definitely not happy. Hard to say at the moment whether it is the cause or just another symptom of the problems. Would you please open a web terminal and run: cat /var/log/unraid-api/crash.json and then copy/paste the output here?
  3. Oh, you are using jumbo frames. That causes no end of trouble, I highly recommend you go to Settings -> Network Settings and change the "Desired MTU" for each interface back to the default of 1500.
  4. You are having DNS problems, so let's remove your router from the equation. I'm not sure what you meant by 0.0.0.0, but please go to Settings -> Network Settings and change your IPv4 DNS server to 8.8.8.8, wait a few minutes, and then provide updated diagnostics.
  5. There are multiple threads open related to flash backup, please see my comment here: https://forums.unraid.net/topic/128043-my-servers-will-not-do-flash-backup/#comment-1167192

  10. Thanks for letting us know you're still having issues. I am seeing intermittent errors as well but after retrying a few times it always connects. We are going to do another round of server side tweaks before asking for your logs. In the meantime, if your online flash backup is out of date please make a manual backup of your flash drive by going to Main -> Boot Device -> Flash -> Flash Device Settings -> Flash Backup
  11. The webgui only responds via Let's Encrypt SSL using the LAN IP, not the tunnel IP, but "Remote access to server" only provides access to the tunnel IP. To access the LAN IP you need one of the other "peer type of access" options, such as "Remote access to LAN" or "Remote tunneled access". The other option as you mentioned is to relax the "use SSL/TLS" setting to allow you to access the webgui via IP address.
  12. Please see this section of the wiki talking about redirects: https://wiki.unraid.net/Manual/Security#Redirects Redirects are from http not https. So if you go to http://192.168.88.10 (note http not https) you will be redirected. When in Strict mode, the server will only respond using the official SSL certificate on the urls that are valid for that certificate. If you are trying to get a redirect, go to http://192.168.88.10 (note http not https)
  13. This could be useful to someone else, thanks for posting the answer
  14. Flash backup needs to be able to make an outgoing ssh connection to backup.unraid.net on port 22 or 443. You can do `nslookup backup.unraid.net` to see the possible IP addresses it will connect to.
  15. We released a hot fix for this, please go to the plugins tab and update to version 2022.09.06.2108 of the My Servers plugin.
  16. Hi folks, we released a hot fix for this, please go to the plugins tab and update to version 2022.09.06.2108 of the My Servers plugin.
  17. Thanks for reporting.Touching the file is a good short term solution, we'll get out a fix for this.
  18. Hey everyone, we've released My Servers plugin version 2022.09.01.2208, go to the Plugins tab and check for updates! This release has multiple Flash Backup improvements to address the issues mentioned here https://forums.unraid.net/topic/112073-my-servers-releases/#comment-1163024 Please update to this version ASAP to help reduce the load on the backup server, after enough people have updated we expect most will be able to connect again without problems. We are also surfacing better messages on the My Servers Settings Page to help when there are problems. We have also made some improvements to the API that should help with connections to mothership, but there is still more to come on this front. ## 2022.09.02 ### This version resolves: - Behind the scenes improvements to the unraid-api ### This version adds: - The unraid-api will be restarted automatically if it stops - Improved logging submitted by UpdateDNS to help track down issues - Flash Backup - warn when signing out that flash backup will be disabled - Flash Backup - better display of error states - Flash Backup - add rate limiting so systems with issues do not waste resources trying to connect
  19. @rich1m94 Somehow you have a configuration for a 2nd NIC. Perhaps you used to have the hardware and removed it? In any case, Unraid does not remove the lines for the phantom NIC automatically, so manually removing them and rebooting is a good solution. Or you can delete the file entirely and reboot, Unraid will recreate it in that case. @Squid I'm not sure what you are suggesting? Having details for a missing NIC in the config will confuse various scripts in Unraid (like it confuses this test), so removing them is good. If this test makes users aware of the issue I'd say it is doing its job. Is there something else you think it should do?

  21. Do you have a note telling you to configure a static route in your router? Did you do that? If Nat is set to No, then without the static route on your router your WireGuard clients can't reach anything on the local LAN, including the DNS server. You may be able to get access to the Internet (but not the LAN) if you set the Peer DNS Server to a public DNS server like 8.8.8.8
  22. If you are having trouble, please wait for the next release before setting this up. See https://forums.unraid.net/topic/112073-my-servers-releases/#comment-1163024
